Dear Please suggest Engine oil for Honda 100, last time i was use Hevoline 20-50 but Mechanic told me that u should use 20-40. He told me that 20-50 is for Honda 125. Now i am confused what should i do.
Dears what about Honda Engion oil, whats its quality?
i changed bike oil with yamalube @ 1000Km. This week bike completed 2000Km and when i went to get it changed.... i was shocked to see that it was turned completely black only after 1000Km use..... Mechanic told me i should have changed it little earlier and i was like what d hell? when should i change it??? only after 500Km???Anyway, this time i used Caltex Havoline 20W50 and will see how it turns out after 1000Km use....
It will have healthy turnout as compared to other oils.
As My Engine is just new..I want to use best quality oil available in 20w-40 multigrade range..Synthetic may be better..Please advise the best oil for my brand new bike..I m thinking of switching to Zic 4T at 800 from my Honda genuine oil(oil changed at 300).But Zic 4T hs lower viscosity grade than recommended for CD 100 i.e 20w-40.What about Zipex 4T?I am thinking of going to Zipex 4T 20w-40..DOes CD 100 has wet clutch?
Yes, bro CD 100 has wet clutch. Most of the bikers don't recommend ZIC 4T as it's not available in genuine condition. If you use Honda Oil then please do purchase it from Honda authorised dealer only.
salam to all the participants.
here is shehzad sheikh from chiniot. i have honda deluxe 125, i was much worried about the engine oil. searched almost everywhere for best oil but all in vain. i tried,, Havoline, zic, shell hilex etcc. but these were not fit for my bike's performance. some 6 months ago one of my friend who is the whole sale dealer of mobil oils, he introduced me... askari xhp 10w-40 sae sm. believe me that it is the best oild for the bikes either that is 70,100 or 125.
it is available 4 liters can and the price of 1 liter is approx 520 rs.
Fully synthetic oils are not that good for bikes, semi synthetic are better! try using the castrol 10w-40 semi synthetic. i have heard quite a few times that by using fully synthetic oils specifically in honda the clutch tends to slip. so the better choice i think is the semi synthetic.
