    Talking Bike's Home service/wash/top up---Honda CD 100

    Kudos to R1 bhai for instituting indirectly/directly a bike care sense in us..Influenced by his craze for maintaining bike thus following his footsteps and with zeal for maintaining my bike effectively i washed my Bike the second time,but this time getting pics in between different phases..So here are my wash skills..

    Plus i would like to advise my fellow PW members that if you think time aint an issue try to clean your bike yourself(otherwise service tashion is the only alternative),,it is not a car which is difficult to service individually...Plus there is a hell of difference b/w wash via service tashions and self service..Dudes in service tashions use substandard detergents and dirty cloths which can severely affect you paint finish not instantly but in the months/years to come..

    1) MY CLEANING GEAR:

    Bikes Home servicewashtop upHonda CD 100 -1061696

    Formula One Car Shampoo:::Rs 120
    Formula One Car Wax::: Rs 350
    Brasso:::Rs 180
    7cf:::150
    Revive All:::Idk already had in home
    Formula One Scratch out Paste:::Bought it long time ago...No idea(Paste is better than fluid version of scratch out)
    Glint(Best for cleaning out glasses,Lights,Indicators):::Idk already in home

    2)BIKE BEFORE WASH:
    It was dirty but not completely dust riddled..I normally wash my vehicle's every week or so max 2 weeks..This time i was aiming to get zero meter looks..You can get an idea from the following pics

    Bikes Home servicewashtop upHonda CD 100 -1061697

    3) Wash and WAX:

    First cleaned out removable dirt wit a soft cloth..Washed my ride with Formula one car wash shampoo and dried it immediately..Bike took some 15-20 minutes to completely dry..Applied formula one wax on Tank,side covers and brake cover.

    Looks after Polishing.

    4)POLISHING PLASTICS:

    Now it was time to polish rear fender,mudguard,odo,handles and all plastic stuff..Here you can observe dusty pre polish plastic parts.

    Bikes Home servicewashtop upHonda CD 100 -1061700

    Used 7CF and Revive all for shining plastics..Revive all applied on less accessible portions as 7CF is sprayed..Made sure waxed painted areas are covered with cloth to avoid sprinkles.

    5)SOME PRE-POST CLEANING PICS:

    People usually forget about the Bike's base,,which is most susceptible to dirt..This time i made sure to clean it as max possibly i could.

    Another observable:

    6) FINALTOUCH:

    Some final check-ups..Polishing of metallic parts done via Brasso..Turtle CHrome Wax is recommended for chrome parts as per R1 bhai recommendations but i couldn't find it anywhere in Sadar Rawalpindi..

    7) FINISHED LOOK:

    8)STING:
    After investing approximately 4 hours in this OP,,i was feeling dizzy..So walked to my nearest retail store and got my High Octane fuel aka STING.

    Well-done
    Please no offence, one suggestion, remove this plastic seat cover and put a new seat cover on it, it will cost you Rs 250 from Committe Chowk Market.

    Also introduce these Shampoo and Polishes one by one (in Pic 1)
    From where you purchased them and on what cost?

    Bhai you are absolutely right..Nowadays my primary concern is protecting my bike's paintjob and seat..I have seen my friends crying due to deliberate induced scratches by pathetic bystanders..Are there covers available for tanki tappay and rear?

    + added price and inventory details..

    Now my post like are gone

    Yes its lot of fun in cleaning & only you can clean it with interest from heart
    USTAAD service waale can never clean as you would clean your bike with interest
    Great work bro, don't wash it again & again as water is big solvent
    I recommend you to install engine mudflap

    Yes cover for Fuel Tank is easily available
    Half cover only upper side with foam stuff looks cool. Hard Covers without foam will cause scratches on Fuel Tank

    Engine Mud Flap is good but mechanic always discourage because they think it will block air flow too
    which is dangerous for bike

    yeah bro use only simple soft cloth would cost you around 15 to 20 rupees
    choose cloth which feels soft to you, cloths are available @ most motorcyle shops
    Do Not Use those market tank pad type cover instead of protecting tank
    they would scratch tank & don't keep accessories or any kind of goods on tank
    in order to keep it clean scratch free & yes AHL bikes paint quality is very good As R1 said
    Don't worry too much just take care of it. its not gonna fade quickly
