    Honda Pridor 100 Model 2013 - 5yaod

    Hello Friends with the Grace of Almighty Allah I have been able to purchase new bike again
    As many of you guys know i owned deluxe & some dear p.w fellows call me also deluxe guy
    Deluxe is no doubt a very good bike & i am proud of deluxe but now I am actually a Pridor

    Honda Pridor 100 includes fair amount of changes to be call as its a new model & yes new bike
    this is happening after years of waiting in AHl motorcycles but finally finally its really good to see changes
    And the changes in Pridor are very impressive & adorable. I have not owned old AHl CD100
    So I may point out something which may not be change I request you guys to
    kindly correct me in this thread if am wrong. I would highly appreciate that

    Overall bikes has been given sporty looks & is dedicated to people who appreciate & wants to see change in AHl motorcycle

    *Headlight with aerodynamic visor..... Fitted very nicely better than deluxe
    *New Design Sleek & Sexy Tank & Side Covers with brilliant Graphics
    *Side covers locking mechanism is good, they sit perfect & tight won't make noise
    *Sporty very good looking Front Fender........ Its covering tyre nicely & keeping dirt away
    *Quality Honda Deluxe indicators looking beautiful on Pridor
    *New Carburetor
    *New Beautiful looking tool box design
    *New kinda Fuel on/off switch with beautiful plastic cover (giving good look to bike from left side
    *Matt Black Silencer with beautiful Chrome Patti's
    *Front Shocks & Engine Magnet covers painted black & color quality seems very good
    *Beautiful looking meter specially in night its eye pleasant lack glowing needle
    but yet very good, light is bright in full meter
    *AHl have given a small mud guard infront of rear tyre now this is minor
    but yet good AHl have taken care of this thing & they also have utilized good use of rubber
    where ever it was needed to reduce noise & vibration

    2nd Gear Katak Sound Issue
    As I purchased Pridor, On 2nd day i did realize
    that second gear is making unpleasant little higher Katak sound
    when shifting as compare to other gears but i thought this is nothing to worry
    this must be due to clutch settings but as another
    p.w Pridor owner faced same issue with his Pridor
    Than i went to Honda mechanic and he adjusted the clutch setting
    despite that it was producing this sound Finally in the end,
    Mechanic also said this seems a minor factory problem this would produce this sound.

    It should not be producing this higher katak sound
    It is really shameful for AHl launching bike with flaw
    Now this flaw is not very serious but despite this should not be there
    In similar way AHl had launched some CG models with very annoying knocking & khee sound issues
    Pridor issue does not look to me very serious, Because as you get use to clutch of pridor
    than you won't be having any issue in shifting from 1st to 2nd
    You won't listen any higher Katak sound, You will be shifting gear nicely
    So don't be discourage if you are Pridor owner within some days
    You will over come this issue as i have, gladly i am now shifting 2nd gear pretty good

    10,000km Completed on Pridor My Experience (Issues)

    After keeping the bike for almost 10months & completing 10k
    i am in very well good condition to tell what are cons or issues present in bike
    some issue i immediately encountered after purchasing but as the time i got to know more
    things about Pridor is good bike is not complete failure infact its enjoyable comfortable ride
    but its not the perfect bike there are some errors present in bike and these are serious issues
    Atlas Honda must resolve these issues immediately

    Engine Issues: 2nd gear kattak sound present in bike from the very first day it is annoying & really frustrating to see brand new bikes having such kinda issue but as i had said earlier you get use to it and you no more listen this sound but it does not mean AHl gives us bike with kattak sound issue and Along kattak sound issue Gear Box is not smoothest it makes little kir kir sound when shifting to 2nd gear and slowly leaving hand from clutch like the Old CG125
    Rear Shocks: A Complete failure they are good only for one person as they time passeed they became very soft
    and it was really frustrating driving bike on bad bumpy roads bikes loses its balance when pillion sits on it and ruins whole pleasure of riding bike i did some jugaar which was suggested by mechanic after this i am pretty satistfied Altas honda must resolve this issue as soon as possible and they must give adjustable shocks but please not adjustable as deluxe
    Tyres: Really not good tyres worst Servis tyres i had replaced front tyre after driving just 100km it was bumpy
    and i had terrible experience with rear servis its one of the worst tyres i have ever seen
    Handle: I am not pleased with handle front shocks seems to be working fine but it is some thing wrong with handle fitting which ruins pleasure of riding and you feel shocks when you drive on bad road bumps and after some time one of handlebar clamp nut got loose got it fixed 2nd nut got loose so there is some thing seriously fishy in quality
    Update: My conclusion this is common issues present in AHl bike the handle of CG125 & Pridor 100
    is not comfortable driving on bad roads i mean you feel impact on your hands so its general issue
    present in all pridors and mechanics now admit it and one machanic suggested solution but i refused
    Electical Issue:
    Facing electrical issue from the first day of purchase have replaced two batteries now using 3rd
    also replaced battery charger bought new still facing issue bikes horn does not work when bike slows down althought horn is perfectly fine simply there is not enough eletricity in bike i think loadshedding problem hai just joking bike can not bear rear light & pressing horn together well seriously i mean even CD70 does not have these kinda issue its magneto coil is powerful enough to generator good electicity honda mechanic has never been able to give any solution to this issue when ever i go to him he suggest to change bettery water
    Update: As i had told i am working on this issue but honestly speaking ignored this issue for long time i mean months
    i used to be frustrated as horn does not work and if worked use to beep very slow specially brake is pressed
    but just some days back went again to mechanic i started to find out what is the cause of this issue he checked battery current it was perfect fine means battery was fine charged as i had told my last two batteries died but i had replaced
    battery charger and i guess it was right decision this time there was not issue of battery low current battery showed complete signs of ok charged than mechanic checked horn he adjusted horn settings first with small bolt it did not work than he adjusted horn settings with bigger bolt and horn started to beep nice and quite good since than its working fine no matter if i press brake horn works even if bike is switched off i turned on the signals pressed brake than press horn and yet it works so now it seems to be working fine

    My Pridor 1 Year Completed On 17th Nov: 13000km (#1724)

    Here I do would like to write some thing about warranty period of bike
    Guys Atlas Honda is providing warranty of 2 years on their all bikes
    but with limitation of Max: 15000km i think they are playing game here again
    and trying to become genius but i think most of us now very well know that
    2 year of warranty in actually is not worth because warranty almost expires in 1 year
    i just give you an example of fellow pridor owners here at pakwheels most of them have
    clocked over 10k in one year so means there warranty is about to finish

    Look In india Hero Motorcyles they are providing a warranty of 5 years or 70000km
    i think now this is real warranty and peace of mind 70000km is long mileage

    and this shows the strong quality built of there product

    Sold My Pridor 100 Kept It For One & Half Year (#2016)

    We all know about list of issues present in Pridor 100 i don't want to go in details
    again in main post those issues are already discussed here despite all those issues i kept this bike
    for one & half year if this bike was complete failure i would have not kept it this much time
    some issues are very annoying but you can get use to it there is solution & tricks to avoid
    but still brand new bike should not coming out of factory with these issues what i feel
    for Pridor is that this bike can become highest selling bike if all those issues are resolved
    and Atlas Honda does some work on this bike seriously its an very good bike powerful & smooth
    vibration free comfortable bike with very good fuel consumption and attractive looks

    Update: Honda Pridor So Called New Model Launched

    Atlas Honda has launched new model for Pridor 100 which in my view is such an shameful launch
    specially for bike like pridor 100 which finally was getting some sells but still way much struggling
    as compare to CD70 we are use to of atlas honda launching new stickers calling them new models
    from decades but atleast they should have worked on some of issues that were reported by pridor
    owners and why the hell ahl were collecting feedback of pridor owners keenly if they had nothing
    to do about those issues and they were to launch only new designed sticker on adobe.

    Honda Pridor is very good bike but there few flaws in it which makes its pleasant driving experience
    into annoying experience i am really disappointed from atlas honda new model launch specially of
    pridor this is not new model infact just an sticker launch which we know atlas honda is master in it
    their engineers & researchers are day night working only on adobe to design stickers

    i was hoping & expecting they will do some thing on issues and also might introduce some changes
    but i was completely wrong atlas honda want to continue their year by year sticker launch legacy

    Gul bhai wapsi ke liye achi prep ki he. Actually pics is liye nahi lein i was worried ke mein kisi wrong route pe na mur jaun(+i have an old iPhone 3G jis ki battery week he... so i thought not to loose battery) and it was my utmost wish to reach Multan before maqrpib. on my way back i will take pics.

    My shopping for back journey. abhi foot pump rehta he.
    tube 2.75 x18 mili nahi

    Engine oil Shell AX3 dala he ab.

    foot pump ke ilawa kutch aur sath purchase karun?
    Is tyre also necessary?????
    Motorway police wala waea and details and my little experience Gujranwala ja k post karun ga.

    + Amjad bhai, wo gutka nut mein ne Multan Honda 5S se pata kiya he but wo kehte hein keh is k liye warranty card lao and bike lao phir laga dein ge. They said they had that nut. Mein ne is dealer ka photo receipt ka post kar diya he. aap phone pe try karein.

    tube size for 2.75-18 tyre is same 2.50-18 so its same thing

    Naseer brother checked my pridor's fuel average like the way you had
    i have given this test name "Cup Of Carburetor"


    bro i turned fuel to off and drove the bike at 45km/h it did 2.3km
    than again turned off fuel and drove the bike 60km/h it did 2.2km
    3rd time turned off fuel and drove the bike at 60km/h it did 1.9km (wind opposite)

    maine sab tests mein bike jitna chal sakte thi utna chalaaya aur jab throttle bilkul jawaab de gaye
    aur bike stop moving than i took the reading

    amjad bhi is ka matlab hai meri pridor low milige de rahi hai ? per main ne kafi dafa cheak kiya hai long journy per its give me 50+ at 70+ speed

    kiyonke aap ne air mixture settings ko change kardiya hai mere hisaab se
    wohi same average nahein dege es settings par

    bro aap yeh cup of carburetor test air mixture screw ki settings change karne se pehle
    check karti stocks settings par toh aapko andaaza hojaata ke factory settings par kitni average deti hai

    Default Handle gutka set for pridor

    Amjad bhai, I have visited the Mcleod road market for HANDLE KA GUTKA of your Pridor. Visited many shops but in vain. At last I visited PK AUTOS. The owner Mr. Pervaiz told me that they have the GUTKA set. He told me that this gutka set is same for all HONDA motorcycles but i remebered your words there that you got the gutka set of 70 cc in your area but it could not fit to Pridor.

    I asked him again. He checked with the list and also his mechanic reconfirmed that it is for PRIDOR.
    I took some pics for your decision. Brother please see and let me know that what to do now?

    Racer bhai this can not be installed in pridor i had not bought the Atlas honda one
    but a chinese copy made by lifan it was same as you have posted pic
    this can not be installed in pridor the difference is in the bottom portion
    i will try to take snapshot of pridor Handle Gutka and will share here

    bro mere samajh se yeh bahar tha aakhir kaar yeh salay AHl waalon ne
    yeh faraq kiyon diya hai

    Actually AHL has provided a part list to the shopkeepers.
    The said shopkeeper told that if a part is in a variety
    then it is mentioned in the list and for common part;
    it is not mentioned nthere in the list so he told that this part is same for all AHL bikes.

    Amjad sir ji apki bike ki kismat khrab hai..Yaqeen karain meri bike stock condition main hai,,with same stuf,,service tyre,no handle issue,2nd gear katak is there but i have got accustomed to shifting to 2nd gear at 15 Km/hr.No electrical issue..

    AIk masla hai,,bike aik khada say guzi to rim teray ho gayay,,alignment karwai hai magar low speeds pay wobble karti hai (jhoolti hai)bike.Koi machine kay zariyae alignment nai ho sakti??..Yeh tyre utar kar who do dandon main kas kar wala system kisi kaam ka nai hai..Koi haal btain

    ge sir lagta toh aise hi hai kismat kharaab hai
    bro 2nd gear ka solution toh yahi hai jaldi shift karna
    baaqi other issues jaise handle aur yeh electrical issues etc bad luck

    pridor ya CD100 eski rim ki quality zabardast hai mein jis kise bhi rim walay ke pass
    gaya hon woh es ki rim ki buhat tareef karte hai aur jo beating maine esko di hai heavy weight
    ke saath buhat amazing hai still es mein koi dent nahein parha khuch arsa pehle mein shak kar raha
    tha shaayad rim mein dent parh gaya hai mein do alignment waalon ke pass gaya dono
    check ki aur apni apni ustaadi ki par dono ne ek hi baat ki aap rear tyre kharaab hai service
    waala jo maine warranty claim mein replace karwaaye tha 3.00 de kar
    aap bhi zara check shaayad tyre mein maslaa ho

    Mein honda mechanic ke elaawa kise aur local ustaad ko bike dikhaana nahein chahta
    koshish karta hon avoid karon par my kismat kharaab hai ya bad luck yeh honda mechanic
    mere bilkul bhi nahein sunta mere kise bhi point se agree nahein karta jaise soft shocks wala problem
    tha woh bhi uske chooto ne recommend kiya tha aur handle ke issue mein pehle din se esko keh raha hon
    khuch comfortable nahein hai handle aur ab recently toh yeh khuch zyaada kar raha hai
    par honda mechanic meri es baat se agree hi nahein karta pata nahein kiyon
    jaise yeh electrical issue tha woh bhi yeh agree nahein karta
    eska yeh maslaa yeh problem solve karne mein serious nahien hota bilkul

    Ya toh mujhe yeh shayaad Pagal aur Wehmi samjhta hai

    mujhe toh ab aisa lagne laga hai


    aaj maine ek aur ustaad jo mera dost hai
    usko bataaya ki handle comfortable nahien hai ab toh brake lagao toh tak tak awaaz bhi aate hai
    usne kaha ki yeh koi barha maslaa nahein hai mein esko thek kar sakta hon thorhi se setting hogi handle
    ki aur yeh maslaa khatam ho jaaega handle mein jo gooliyan hote hai enki setting karni parhege aur tight karna parhega soochta hon ek mooqa don esko ke setting kare aur koi option bhi nahein hai
    khuch aur ustaad logon ke saath bhi consult karonga es issue ko
    baaqi honda mechanic toh wohi jawaab dega sir khuch nahein bilkul sahi hai aap wehm kar rahe hai

    This is the most heart trenching thing to hear when you are facing a problem but the authorities are unwilling to treat it as an issue and call it "wehem" instead

    Anyway, good luck Amjad bro. I hope all the problems you are facing with your Pridor would get lost.

    When I had my Honda CD 100, I took it to antenna dealer who is also a childhood friend of my uncle, I told him rear shock absorbers were producing "chik chik" sound when the bike hit a bump. He did accept the sound was there, but said "it's not a fault" But I got my meter's cable replaced under warranty within one week of purchase of bike because its ring (the end that connects to the meter) had broken out of its place and it was no more holding the cable.
    First deserve, then desire.

    and bro that "chik chik" shock sound is common in AHl bikes
    Deluxe and pridor shocks both produce this sound

    Yes, it is cumbersome job, removing tyre and give to "Cycle Wala" entire day wasted
    But there is no solution except this ...

    AHL rims are of good quality. I believe AHL is using "Somo" brand rims in its bikes.

But when i bough same rim for my second GS from other spare parts shop, i got it for 1000 rupee. Then alignment guy told me you shouldn't have gone to this center, they rob people a lot.

    On the contrary, my experience with Suzuki has been good. The mechanic and staff at Mr. Suzuki Rawalpindi is very nice and friendly. Same is the case here at Suzuki Bahawalpur Motorcycles.

    Are you sure it isn't the case of simple loose handle. In jumps it goes tuk tuk???
    If it's just loose handle, you can simply tight it a little by yourself, all you'll need is a 17 size paana i guess.

    Gull bhai today again went to honda mechanics shop
    mechanic was not their and i was glad he was not there
    as his reply must have been same and quite expected

    i discussed this issue with his chooto ustaad
    he was speaking same and proclaiming it is not issue
    nothing is wrong with your pridor handle i asked him
    come and check with little bit serious he checked
    i told him hold handle and use force up and down
    you will listen tak tak sound and would feel impact direct in your hands
    he did felt that but he said that sound is coming from shocks and it is normal
    there is nothing to worry but further discussed and talked with him
    i told him deluxe used to produce same tak tak sound when doing same
    but when driving it did not produce this sound while hitting any breakers jumps
    i did not use to feel any impact on my hands but while driving pridor i can feel impact
    on my hands holding handle if the bike is producing tak tak i don't have problem
    but while driving it should not produce this sound when hitting jumps
    as this really ruins pleasure of driving

    Chooto Mechanic said nothing is wrong it is shocks doing this
    he said exactly same is the case with front shocks absorbers of CG125
    these boths bikes are having same shocks he said drive CG125
    when you will ride it on bad roads you would feel exactly the same
    as you are feeling riding pridor i had to agree to him on this
    as i have driven my friends CG125 2011 model and it was not comfortable
    driving CG on bad roads i mean you can feel impact of jumps on your handle
    and similiar kinda sound does tuk tuk while you drive it
    i had said to my friend bikes handle is not comfortable at all
    at that time i had deluxe he was agreeing saying yaar lagta meri bike
    mein koi maslaa hai mein usko bataaya tha shayaad handle ki problem
    hai es mein jo gooliyan hote hai uska issue hai
    but now i feel i think there was nothing wrong with his bike
    i guess it is manufacturing error present in CG also

    I am surprised why others pridor owners are not facing this issue
    i am from early days not happy with handle of bike or its front shocks
    what ever the issue is i am not satisfied riding my pridor over bad roads
    its not comfortable and pleasure driving it over bad roads as hit jumps this tak tak
    sound come and you can feel impact on your hands in earlier days tak tak
    sound did not produce it was just impact but now its both

    You Will Have To Bear It Baaqi I Assure You There Is Nothing Special Error In Your Bike
    There Is Nothing We Open Bikes Whole Handle There Is Nothing To Adjust & Tight
    Even If I Try To Tight Which Your Friend Mechanic Has Suggested Handle May Jam
    And You Face Even Worse Issue

    Now I Am Really Confused What Is Issue Weather Its Shocks Or Only Handle

    But One Thing Is Clear It Is Some Thing Wrong Their Alteast I Feel That
    I Think It Is Better I Should Ignore This Issue And Accept It As An Gift From AHl

    Are you sure it isn't the case of simple loose handle. In jumps it goes tuk tuk???
    If it's just loose handle, you can simply tight it a little by yourself, all you'll need is a 17 size paana i guess.
    What i have observed with Honda official service centres is this:

    1. If the bike is under warranty then nothing can be wrong in it. And if there is something wrong then YOU caused it and somehow it is not covered under warranty.

    2. If the bike is not under warranty then everything needs tuning and parts changing. A perfectly good sprocket set would be deemed unfit and good clutch plates would be declared as useless.

    Best is to avoid official service centres, be it Honda or Suzuki. Find a good mechanic and stick with him. Contrary to the popular belief there are educated bike mechanics who are competent enough to work on any local/small cc bikes.

    So from what i am understanding... you never tried tightening it even once right???
    You should get it tightened so that you can exclude one cause that it isn't loose. Fearing that it may jam??? that's no problem, you can loosen it if it happens. what to fear???

    Take a 17 size paana and a paichkas.

    Use paana to unscrew this main bolt. Loosen it to the extent that you can rotate it with your hand.

    Notice this ring under it.

    Set paichkas in that groove and tighten the ring by tapping the paichkas at the other end. You can tap just with your hand with force, if it is loose it will move and once tightened it will stop. You can't over tight it just by tapping with your hand so don't worry about it.

    Once this ring is tightened, use your pana to tighten the main bolt back to its original setting. That's it.

    Do it, and if this doesn't work then work your way to find some other cause.
