W/salaam bro congratulations for your euro2

Bro, while your bike is start, block the silencer tip with cloth or something to silent the silencer sound and observe the engine tappets sound, if you feel extra tappets noise then your tappets will need adjustments but wait till it's first tuning at 1,000/- kilometers...

And it is highly recommended NOT TO USE ZIC. Use Caltex Havoline

Congrats bro, so this is your first CG125
let me tell you one thing 125cc engines does produce tappet sound
its normal sound reduces after tuning So don't worry
I highly recommend you not to use Zic

My hearties congratulations on your new bike

CG-125's Tappet sound is NORMAL. Tappet is just valve clearance. They'll produce 'chik chik' sound when they are Loose. Tightening them will make that sound go away (or very reduced) ... but that'll affect the life of engine.
    Point is ... ITS NORMAL.

Havoline is the usual oil, tried and recommended by every single rider out there. Honestly speaking, i myself have never been satisfied other than Havoline. (have used Atlas Honda's Genuine Oil which was Preposterous)
Riders on the storm ... literally.

    ANy reason???..Hard to comprehend imo
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.

You said this is your First CG-125. I doubt if you are ever going to Actually notice any difference in oils.

If a brand 'works fine' (keyword: FINE) for you ... you will simply tag it as "Very Good". And i must tell you, BOTH Havoline & Zic works brilliantly in Winter Season.

Its the Summer Season where the 'true' performance shows.

I'll avoid doing the "technical" analysis as i am no way qualified enough to do so. However, i'll just share my (and my friends') experience.

    - Engine Noise (like, Engine is "Screaming") becomes more Prominent, when Engine Oil gets HOT (i.e. it gets Thinner).
    - Clutch Loosens its working (the Worst problem in the History of CG-125 ... obviously because of Wet Clutch) ... and it'll be affected much more incase of a Thinner Oil (or HOT oil).

Thats exactly where ZIC 4T doesn't quite fall upto expectations. Like i mentioned, it works brilliantly in Winter Season. It underperforms the Havoline in Summer season (especially when ambient temperature increases upto 35C)

I have stopped experimenting with Engine Oils and i have been using Havoline since 3 years now. Sometimes, i DO feel the need of a better oil, without caring how expensive it'd be (its usually in Summer Season ). But overall, i'd rate my experience Quite Well with Havoline.

Zic turns into water at high temp.. its a cheap, low quality oil.. not only bikes, it has also ruined engines of cars!
They use push marketing.. they advertise it + they give more profit margin to dealers and retailers as compared to other oils.. thats why oils tores recommend it...

well your answer is quite logical could be the advertising and the profit margin that the shopkeeper recommends it anyways i'm not gonna experiment on my bike i'll just use the well trusted oil that you guys recommend....

totally agreed with abobilly bhai ... I've experienced ZiC once in my bike, it was actually fine till 100km's and later forced me to drain it and add Havoline....

And try checking from Caltex pumps or metro for original oil

    Default mashAllah

    First 1000km Running Period
*Try to Avoid Overloading or Double Sawaari
    *Drive 40 to 50km/h
    *Avoid Qiuck Acceleration
It is always recommended to change first oil as soon as possible around 200km
than change 2nd after 500km later on you may change after 800-1000km
very good timing to change oil
