Cool My Honda CG125 Deluxe Euro-ll

    Hi everybody
So here is my new ride Honda Deluxe.
Previously i have used CD70, Junoon and GS150.
Yesterday when i went to purchase it, i had Suzuki experience in mind when i had to choose between 15 bikes standing there and still i couldn't find a perfect piece for me. So i was again ready to examine the bike thoroughly before purchase.
There was only one black Deluxe standing there and i asked the manager if they had more in stock, he said that you check this one, if you find any fault then we will bring another piece out. So i started checking the bike and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was no minor defect i could detect. So just went ahead and got it.
    Initial impression is good.
Good to have fuel gauge back, liking the Disk Brake
It certainly isn't as vibrationless as GS150, but very agile compared to GS. You can zig zag it easily through the traffic.

This rule works for cars only. Not on our tiny engine bikes which start redlining at 90+ speeds.

So Gullbhai what is your overall final verdict, GS-150 or Deluxe keeping in mind all factors including economy.

I love both rides. No final verdict.
Economy wise you can consider both same. 35-40km/L in local use. And redlining on highway 30-33km/L.

Great!! the day you were trekking down from ISL to BWP me and BlueHorn were treeking up from LHR to ghoraGali ... I was on RP in all tour I maintained speed of 100~110kmh and averaged 90km/hour becuase I had to keep it up with GS500 of BlueHorn now finally home and i did math of fuel useage i got 35KM/Liter where as GS500 gave 15~17KM/L

Man, it was just like hell got loose .... every body on GT road was staring at me from there on...
Did last 150Km like that It was some crazy experience
imagine a CG without a silencer

Yup Gs-150, Piaggio and Deluxe 125 all have almost same average on highways if speeding continuously on speeds 100 or 105, my piaggio also gave me 30 K.M/L average on highways

Luckyliy I averaged 35= KM/Liter including high Climbing on mountains and maintinaging 110KM speed for as long as 15 minutes may be being brand new also matters or some thing ....

in start @BlueHorn said how much speed will be possible on RP I said I think we must maintian around 90~100 but when we reached wazirabad in an hour (which is 115km from lahore) and @BlueHorn came by my side and asked me "waqar do you know what speed you are maintaining" and I said no I dont have speedo, he said you were cruising at 110kmh and I was looking at my speedo and getting amazed by your RP's performance ...

Then on Thandyani we left GS500 at hotel to save feul and @BlueHorn who is above 125kg and me above 86KG rode RP on 70' Degree steep slopes ... total wieght of us and equipments was 3 times more then bikes own weight.

I had no mountain riding experience and i choked the bike on first climb near nathaya gali so I handed over to @BlueHorn who has some seriuos moutain riding skills he said "ye 125 class bike ki shan men gustakhi hai it will reach thandayani with this laden weight" ... and his skills mind blowing he just regains RPM of a choking bike with magic on high climbs.. without killing clutch plates.. over all it was awesome will create thread InshAllah learned alot..

when we reached the hill top he stared at RP and said man this is awesome I am fan of RP when are the launching 150 version ? I need to go to Naran on it.. I really take it as a tropphy from a pro Rider like @BlueHorn who has rode CG in those areas..

    Thanxx @Ansee!

Yes My RP was in very bad shape if i took that it may have failed badly becuase usky Rings/clutch her cheez attention mang rahi thi as it was a 2008 model and very badly used I sold it few month back.

the RP I took on this tour was our pakwheeler friend @feaVeo 2013 RP Strom 125 .... and it really made my trip super awesome. It has a high ground clearance and High riding posture and we never got tired riding it.

yar men kaho ga k stable hai tu kahina *** waqar bhai tu wesay he RP k fan hain but thats true it was as stable as GS150.

actually I didnt had a speedo meter, but before tour a week ago I checked the Feveo RP with GPS cell fone and found that it makes up to 110 with in mere seconds .. so when we stopped at Muridke for refueling @BlueHorn inquired from me that how much speed i can maintina I told him I have checked RP to max out on 5th gear at 110kmh on GPS he said ok but we didnt reached 110 kmh so far i said man its 125 only I think we must stay b/w 80~100kmh (but @BlueHorn with GS500e was filled with aderdelene already lol ..)

as soon as we hit the road back he was honked by a prado and he throttled and never let the prado took over and I lost contact as it was night so i throttled RP to catch Bluehorn back soon i saw him and took over him as he slowed down for me then we didnt stopped for next half hour untill we reached wazir a bad ... where he came near me a told me that we are constantly hitting and maintaing 110kmh again and again ... and I thought really well that was very smooth I never noticed ... i didnt felt air drag as i was piled up with bags from all sides werna shyid hawa say pta chal jata.. it was smooth like GS150.

you were with pillion rider i think thats why ? werna it should!

By the way !! wesay ajeeb baat hai I have used two RPs in past one was my own and one of my friend Mine was always little slow then my friends but this one was even better... I think its becuase the bikes properly break in perform better i think..

the I have used two CGs one was 2008 which was always a crazy feet nasty fast, but then I bought brand new 2010 which came out to be a sluggish bike it had good accelration but it never crossed 99~98kmh... so I was very much disapointed by new CG at that time as my 2008CG was way way Quicker..

with in same brads... Bikes bikes men bhi frak hota hai lakin kio ye meri samjhe say filhal bahir hai ...

I have got to say that i have started missing GS
Despite having advantage of Disk Brake, Flat wider seat, Agile Handling and Honda Reliability, something feels missing in Deluxe.
