Cool My Honda CG125 Deluxe Euro-ll

    Hi everybody
So here is my new ride Honda Deluxe.
Previously i have used CD70, Junoon and GS150.
Yesterday when i went to purchase it, i had Suzuki experience in mind when i had to choose between 15 bikes standing there and still i couldn't find a perfect piece for me. So i was again ready to examine the bike thoroughly before purchase.
There was only one black Deluxe standing there and i asked the manager if they had more in stock, he said that you check this one, if you find any fault then we will bring another piece out. So i started checking the bike and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was no minor defect i could detect. So just went ahead and got it.
    Initial impression is good.
Good to have fuel gauge back, liking the Disk Brake
It certainly isn't as vibrationless as GS150, but very agile compared to GS. You can zig zag it easily through the traffic.

I have just ridden it 30Km, how can i fairly compare it to GS???

GS has Self start, Battery powered headlight, OHC engine which has very less vibrations. But GS comes with quite a few potential problems (check 2nd post in my GS150 thread to see the list ). Handling of GS is not made for cutting through heavy traffic. Braking is not sufficient. Bike seat is not suitable for pillion rider, pillion rider complains of tiredness too quickly. Plus i didn't find its performance convincing enough for me to keep it inspite of those potential issues.

Deluxe has Fuel gauge, Discbrake and Agile handling makes it piece of cake to zig zag through traffic. And considering Honda reliability, i hope it won't have minor issues here and there. It has OHV engine, which is not as vibrationless as OHC, but it's very responsive engine, you twist the throttle and it responds instantaneously. Bike seat is comfortable for rider as well as pillion both.

    Congratulations on your new purchase.

Now wat's your plan about modifications in Deluxe?

However, the black color in Deluxe is more appealing.
Hope this bike may fulfill your desires. Ameen.

1 question sir..How is the vibration of deluxe as compared to pridor..?

Bro Deluxe is vibration free on slow speeds
but on speed 80km/h & specially when it reaches 90km/h
you will feel alot vibration but in feet only
on the other hand pridor is almost completely vibration free machine
i think we feel vibration in feet on deluxe is because of its OHV engine or big reason seems to me
foot rests are attached directly beneath the engine i think thats why we feel vibration
in pridor foot rests are fixed into frame pipe

From what i have read on pakwheels, it is just 32-35Km/L
My bike is approaching 43Km/L and haven't hit the reserve yet...

honestly speaking i had not really kept eye on checking its fuel average
but once i had checked with 1lt bottle i had gotten 48km/lt
40-45km/lt is normal & very good average from Deluxe
recently those my friends @ village who have purchased deluxe
one 2013 & other 2010 model both are very satisfied with deluxe average

Honestly speaking believe me it really never troubled me in average
from my overall experience i was very happy with its average
the amount of comfort & pleasure this bike provides i think above 40km/h is excellent average by this machine

Gull bhai i am very happy you choose deluxe, You do long trips
Your experience with deluxe on long trips will be very important
and i am sure deluxe will satisfy you

Gull bhai though you are experience biker but again i want to advice
i hope you won't mind my suggestion bro kindly don't go on long trip before 1000km
and just be little careful with Disc Brake
the black deluxe's pic i have posted unfortunately it faced accident too
the owner saeed himself is very good driver but uski dost ne bike le try karne ke liye
aur jaise hai woh thorha aage gaya aur usne disc brake full press ki
bike uski control mein se nikal gaye aur bike felt down luckily usne slow speed pe disc press ki
humne usko disc na lagaane ko kaha bhi tha, he escaped with no injury par bike ka thorha nuksaan huwa

In the begening disc brake looks dangerous but once you get use to it
it saves you from accidents i missed the disc brake alot when i sold my deluxe
i was having difficult driving with drum brakes so had to readjust my driving style

highly agreed. be carefull with them , make sur disc brk pads are not un necessary tight. my mechanic once tighted them un necesseraly , and when i rode rx for 8 kms , disc started giving smell ans smoke(sign of heat) and the colour of disc changed to violet n tyre just locked at a corner and i was at road :/

I did modifications in GS because those were really needed. But deluxe is a well finished package, i don't think it needs any immediate modification.
