Lightbulb Honda CD 100 - Euro II for Sale.

A well-maintained bike with all fuelling and maintenance record available since purchase is up for grab. Yeah, I have maintained this record and also plotted it to observe trends in bike's performance.

It is available in a great price. Hurry!

    Features:

    • Powerful engine and shock absorbers.
    • Does around 60 km per litre.
    • Comfortable and smooth ride.
    • Stock condition: carburettor, engine head, clutch compartment, etc. never opened.
    • New rear tyre & tube.

These features make it a way better choice compared to any 70cc motorbike.

A must grab for ones who like comfort and power in their ride with economy.

Extras: I have its original duplicate key, and original rear number plate - both unused. I even have its owner's manual intact.

    Price: PKR 60,000 ONLY.

PS: With current snaps, I am also uploading its pictures when it was new only for your eyes to see how well I have maintained it :-)

Agreed. But I explicitly stated in my earlier reply (right above yours), it is the first time OHC is brought to Pakistani bikes. This is what the "change" is. It is a whole new arena in Pakistani biking taking a shift from push-rods, lifters, rokker arms to over-head camshafts. It does have mechanical advantages over OHV design. The engine valves in an OHC design are in, I would say, ACTIVE (or direct) control of camshaft as opposed to being actuated through push-rods, rokker arms in an OHV engine. It means no power is wasted in actuating push-rods, rokker arms, lifters in an OHC engine.

Any expert on engine mechanics can elaborate it further for us all.

No, https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/user/gull_s_777, they are still OHVs, per my information. I am not aware if they have indeed updated to OHC designs. But my instinct tells me, sadly, it is not so.

Okay, I checked out Honda's website and CD 70 is indeed an OHC engine as stated under its technical specifications. I wonder how an OHV and OHC engine can have same geometric orientation. Take Honda CD 70 for example, the engine looks the same as it looked when it was OHV! Well, no argument on that. The others may well be OHCs too, but I still want to go with Suzuki GD 110. It is at least a different engine design than the one already being used in their other 110cc line of products (horizontal head position vs vertical head position).

Suzuki GD 110 does have some advanced features like: it contains a decompresser kick for effortless, hence safe start, it has digital CDI system, converter in its exhaust system to reduce pollution, etc.

I am going with GD 110, if Allah wills.

Still waiting to get a reasonable offer to sell my CD 100; afterwards I'll purchase the new bike. I think it will be during or after Ramazan now.

By the way I got my CD 100 in Ramazan too, in 2010. So I think Allah has planned to give me new bike in the holy month of Ramazan again.

Bike sold today for PKR 45,000 in market. I waited for at least a month after posting ad on different websites, but I guess people here are not able to recognize quality things and at last I had to sell it at a lower price.

Jo sochte reh gaye agar contact kar lete to un ko acche rate mein de deta. Ab yehi bike lene jaao us se, 55 - 60 se kam de gaya to baat karna.

Maen ne ek cheez observe ki hay, hum logon ko ek sachi or acchi baat pasand nahin aati. Maen ne 55,000 ki offer bhi lagai thi ek dafa, par kisi ne poocha he nahin :-P

Anyways, I am satisfied that it is sold now and I am looking forward to buy a new one most probably after Ramazan. Meanwhile I'll ride my Ravi 70cc.

^ Bro after using it for three years why you arent expecting any deprecation curves in your graphs... they matter too..no matter how well you keep your vehicle its a fact that it deteriorates internally.

You did not wait enough,it takes time in selling a CD-100.I hate the mentality of this nation--their is no reason whatsover for justifying low resale of this comfort GEM..ANyways BOL for GD purchase
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.

Agreed! This bike is one-hundred-thousand percent better than a 70 cc (Honda or C-Honda) in terms of power, pick, speed, and comfort, yet it gives 70's average. But there is still no demand/resale of this gem. I sold it with heavy heart that no one cared for this immaculate machine.

I sold my CD100 bike with loss of 12000. Bike was almost new and just 700km drive. This bike really has poor resale.
@TZB whats your plan now. will you buy new bike and which one.
