    Default CG-125 Euro II 2013 Problem in Murree....

    Assalam u Alaikum,
    I have a new Honda CG-125 Euro II 2013 model and it has run just 3500km ... I have done it's tuning and Engine Oil change from Honda Center just 100km ago.
    This weekend I took it to Murree and Nathia Gali etc. But as soon as it gained some height i.e we reached near Murree it started to misbehave. i.e (jaisa keh Kachra aa jata hai aur bike/gari missing karna shuru kar detee hai aur kabhi kabhi Patakhe bhee marti hai). Aur bike pura zor bhee nahin pakar rahee thee... This problem was not only on ascends but also on plain roads and even when I stoped the bike and without engaging the gears I gave race the same thing happened. As soon as we descended and reached near Salgiran the problem vanished and the bike was as good as it was ever.... Also while going to Murree I just for a few seconds tried to accelerate the bike on Murree road (Near Rawal Dam) and it easily touched 110 and I could easily accelerate more but intentionally I stopped there (as there was some vibration on the handle) and also I think it is very dangerous to drive it that fast...
    And after reaching back Islamabad I again tried to accelerate it and it reached 110km/hr easily... I went to Honda Center and they said(After taking a test ride) that the bike is tuned perfectly and there should be no problem... Can any one tell me what the problem might be? Also note that I had filled the tank one day ago and all the trip was on the same Petrol.

    don't know ... according to mechanic, hi-octane engine ki internal safaye kr deta hy ...

    I have new Honda CG 125 Delux euro 2 2013 mod. only 5100 km done
    It presented the same problem while going to Nathia gali a couple of weeks ago.

    What was the solution u did. Or
    the problem is still there.

    hello brother...........my cg dream is facing problem that after 15 to 20 mnt of ride specially with double riders got hot and changing engine sound...and getting off when in idling or neutral position.......what should i do?
    I have just tuned the bike from honda antenna dealer.but still problemetic......

    Honda CG125 always start missing on heights its normal.. i have 2012 without euro II still it gave lots of issues like missing. i asked mechanic he said its due to heights and not enough oxygen for bike to maintain speed thats why it start missing

    and there is a solution to it as well


    1: needle jet needs to be lowered to lean the mixture.

    2: if bike cannot idle .. idle also needs to be adjusted. it has affect till 15 % of throttle.


    3: pilot jet with smaller hole needs to be installed ..


    first two will give satisfactory performance if you keep throttle below 75 % ..



    for throttle above 75 % major petrol supply is via main jet and that needs to be adjusted as well.

    @asjdsm as you are well aware of i got myself a Euro 2 carb after my non-Euro 2 one malfunctioned.

    The first thing which i noticed about this Euro one is that the needle position is fixed. There is no c-clip to alter needle position just a retainer which keeps the needle jet in one constant position.

    Secondly an additional feature which is the ACV (Air cut valve). Goons at Honda claim everywhere incl their workshop manual that it's for efficiency when the fact is it is designed to prevent lean condition which results after sudden release of throttle at high rpm. (The lean condition causes popping).

    The main jet size is 90 which can be increased to 92 and the pilot jet size is 38 which can be increased to 40.
