    Default Which is Faster :( ravi piaggio 125 or Cg 125 honda

    Please let me know i have bought ravi paiggio second hand but its slower then 125 at first three gears almost equal with cg but later cg gets lead

    is there problem with my bike or is cg faster ?

    Nahi @saad.bukhari1 bhai I didnt pointed you at all even I didnt read completly what you wrote previously mene sirf apna point of view share kiya hai or dost ahbab say murad bohut say Fan boys hain jo Pakwheels ko BazookaWheels samjhtay hain or Professional Threads men stupid posts kerty hain ..


    Now I read what you wrote you are correct that on Long route RP is a bit Faster but problem is if you are clocking 110KMH on RP and A CG is clocking 108KMH and has given a gap of 2KM in front of you the do a little math how long and ho much time it would take for you to even reach its tail.. secondly dont forget RP is bigger fatter and air drag and other antural foces act on it largly then cg..


    I still remember whil comming back from my tour on Ravi Paiggio from Thandyani I was accompanied with a GS500e and we were cruiing hi speed on Express way when to CGs tagged and tried to catch us but only on first corner first GS leaped and @BlueHorn tilted the bike and then I tilted to make a super fine high speed corner but as soon as CGs reached the same corner they didnt had any idea how to lean on a side and corner a bike they almost crashed and stopped instantly and never tried to catch us then near rawal dam road is very strait and lonely and Me and @BlueHorn were alreay above 110kmh crossed a zooming CG the CG guy laid on the seat and sticked his head to fuel tank so that he can catch us but badly failed reason was we were already rolling... results would have been different if I was not rolling..

    while going from faizabad to rawat a 125 zoomed pass me and bluehorn I gassed up and over took him even he tried to speed up as much as he can he was riding a brand new 2013 model 125 ... :-D

    blue horn didn't bothered and stayed just beside me ... we reached a little traffic and at that point that 125 again crossed us this time it went from in between us honking horn and very dangerously in very high speed it may have ended fatal because of his stupid show off..

    this turned blue-horn anger button to 'ON' he gassed up GS500e ... the 125 guy heared the roar of heavy bike and instantly he knew .. he is screwed ... blue horn passed him and came in front of him and slowly started to reduce speed he tried to over take but blue horn didn't allowed him .. in the mean time i reached... I showed thumbs down and bluehorn and me exchanged victory sign and I looked at the 125 rider he was so much embarrassed that he was unable to escape the fury of GS500e... lol...

    Technically you are right, weight and air resistance make RP speed slower par ic dil ka kia kren ya to manta hi nhi kehta hai RP hi fast hai... :-P

    Vicy Bahi It means RP's got better cornering & balance than CG ?
    CG is also famous for quick slip while breaking.

    CG per aap bohut buray buray Cut mar sakty ho or bari speed say traffic ky beech men say nikal satky ho becuase it has a Hard Straight Shock absorbers and secondly it has a smaller wheel base which make it very easy to do one wheeelie as well ...

    But You cannot make a sharp CURVE as on heavy bikes on high speed in which you have to lean at one side of bike and get you knee out on the road if you do CG will fall and very badly but on RP, GS or longer base bikes or heavy bikes they wont slip even you knee start touching the road while cornering given ur tyres are healthy.

    Vicky bro what about GD-110. There are many owners who are claiming that GD is better in both terms that are acceleration and top speed. Means GD has better acceleration then Honda CG-125 even it is 112cc.

    we need three or may be four volunteers each having a CG,GD, RP and GS...



    Personally I will put my money on CG ... second position would be a hot Deul b/w GS and RP and tail gator would be a GD ... Just assumption nothing from experience as I have not tested GD.

    GD came closer in first 3 gears but then lagged behind of MY RP, @vikytulla Bhaee ap ki bat se thora ikhtilaf kron ga 1-1.5 Km ki lead CG kabi ni le sakta.....Bike koi b ho, Jigra chahiye bhgane k liye....

    sir Jigray wali baat ap ki bilkul sach hai men apsay itefaq kerta hon but mene apni he CG per apni he RP ko 1 kilometer ki lead mari hui hai or Khudi apni he CG say apni he RP per ~1+km ki lead khaye hai..

    men CG ki side nahi lay rha men khud RP ko CG say bohut behter samjta hon lekin without modification na he Deluxe or na he RP dono CG ko pakar sakty hain frankly men Dhond rha hon k kabhi mujhe koi GS150 milay jo wakyee he tez ho kio k abhi tak GS ki bhi tareef mene sirf PW men he dekhi hai .. real men mene khud GS ko akheer drag ker k dekha hai but it failed badly ...


    I am only sharing my personal experience If you saw pics from my last Islamabad trip I clocked 115~125km on my ravi paiggio as well but jitna time wo lay jata hai speed gain kerny men tab tak CG ankhon say ojhal ho chuka hota hai ..


    aapny yakenan CGs ko tough time diya ho ga mene bhi diya hai specially ager men pehly he 4~3rd gear men ager hon or koi CG meray sath lagny ki koshish kery tu usay sharmindagi ka kaye dafa samna kerna peray hai but from 0 to drag men hemesha ap CG ko agay nikalta dekho gy ..


    Secondly her dosra CG road per drag ky liye tune nahi hota mostly CGs are set to economy setting as they are fuel drinkers so if you give hard time to any dick and Harry CG tu brother sach bataon peoperply tuned Rich feul CG say kisi din takra ho gya tu ap khud heran ho jao gy or samjho gy shyid apki bike sahi bhagi nahi jabky asal baat ye ho gee k usdin CG sahi bhagi ho gee..
