    Default Which is Faster :( ravi piaggio 125 or Cg 125 honda

    Please let me know i have bought ravi paiggio second hand but its slower then 125 at first three gears almost equal with cg but later cg gets lead

    is there problem with my bike or is cg faster ?

    yes GD have a good acceleration but It would compete with 125s? ...I don't think so. Telling from my personal experience.

    I had a suzuki sprinter in 2006 and I raced against CG but not like a real race where we had to start from a stationary position. Me and some unknown guy collided on a road very early in the morning and we started accelerating our bikes. After a couple of kms he was not able to get past me and both of us were pushing our bikes to absolute limits. In the end no one could get pass and I thought to myself that all the hype and myths created by CG Fanbois is not true at all. I have driven a CG several times, the point models, CDI's etc... but I never felt that this bike is as fast as people claim it. It tricks you into thinking that it is fast because of that ridiculous noise and vibration you feel like you are going at a million miles per hour.

    very well said bro.. bike ki viberation ko kamal hay or uper bethnay wala khud itna viberate ho jata hay k usay lagta hay k woh ab hayabusa ko b peechay chor day ga lol. CG=1980 Technology and it will still remain the same, na ismain koi change anay wlaa na hay na aye ga kabhi, savay stickers kay lol.

    I use both bikes and a i am also owner of Ravi Piaggioa 125 but Honda 125 is more faster then ravi piaggio

    sprinter is a hell of a bike. specially in 20-70 kph acceleration a nicely tuned sprinter is definitely faster than cg. (although cg feels faster because its slippery seat throws the rider back and it vibrates and sounds really powerful).

    hahaha toba hai
    first i used to see which car is faster, 0-100 for city etc
    now which bike is faster lol

    a car still has 4 wheels, a bike has only 2, GOD forbid if u r pushing it to limits n u have to brake because of some1 crossing a road, i wonder if u'll be able to walk ever again

    Yup i also beat two cg riders on Kashmir highway and those guys could never close the gap all the way to the next signal
    and to get maximum boost and acceleration i shifted up all the gears except 1st and 2nd at or near red line and boy it so awesome feeling

    But you are right the bikes which we ride are not meant to be pushed that hard, hence the manufacturers have never ever given attention to stability and braking at high speeds which are very important factors
    When i first rode a cg, i literally got scared after flooring it to 100 and even more when i pushed my GS to 115Km/h as these bikes are very unstable at high speeds

    Ah, GS150 and CG125 drags lol. I have seen GS150 MURDERING CG125s with a slight flick of the throttle. Its the 5th Gear which makes GS150, Piaggio and Deluxe lose their races. Because 5th Gear is not for speed, contrary to the popular belief. Its for economy. And right when you'll enter 5th Gear, bike will hold itself back, RPM will set to a lower value, and eventually, speed will decrease too.
    Riders on the storm ... literally.

    In 5th gear of GS150 from 6K rpm to 8K rpm, the bike pulls like crazy and the boost is amazing

    Bro, its not like that in GS. Unlike the Deluxe and Piaggio, if you want performance from the 5th gear of GS, you need to shift all the gears in their Powerband. There is no such thing like powerband in a deluxe or piaggio.

    If you are trying to get maximum performance from a deluxe or piaggio, you have to redline the RPM before every shift.

    And, if you want to get maximum performance from a GS then you must shift all the gears in their Powerband. If you redline the 4th gear of GS to 12k RPM it does 105-110km and when you shift to the 5th gear the RPM decreases and the speed gets down to 95-100 (like many guys complain).
    If you shift to the 5th gear between 8-9k RPM, then there are very much chances that it will perform max and do 115-120km/h.

    Now, this is some information!!! Great bro.

    This shows why someone says kk CG is faster and someone says k nahi GS is faster.


    There is always a technique and there is a common term as the 'gear shifting' in professional racing world and it is always not the bike. We see exactly same model, same condition bikes on track but only one wins.

    Bhai log mere pass b cg ah aur mae us se tang agya hon and now im throwing away my cg because aik engine aur tyre k ilawa sirf silencer he ha is mae aur kuch b nae ha is mae jub k ravi has lot more to do itni modification hen is mae k us ka koi hisab hi nai ha cg is a out dated technology no comfort and waste of fuel as well as peace

    Maene apni cg sale kardi ha q k na tu mae street racer hon na hi bandit so nothing to do with acceleration i am going for comfort and response ravi gives say no to old chinese crap and welcome italian bike love you rp
