Default HELP ::: Honda Pridor :D

Hey guys, I hope you all doing fine out there. Need a suggestion from you guys as my responsible did agreed on the bike instead of car in KARACHI but one issue raised when I said 125 specially deluxe or any other 125 even No to Suzuki Gs150 and gave me the only option which is Honda Pridor brand new bling bling reason I won't ride it like an a hole and nothing to be worried about stealing snatching in KHi. They hate bikes their BP raises whenever I say the word bike. Now there are some queries regarding it

    - How is this bike when specially comes to ride as my daily routine mileage is 150kms
    - Fuel Gauge, can I get that option by installing previous CD-100 fuel tank and speedo meter
    - Replace its rear tyre with 90/90-18 for better grip
    - Handle grips and the handle itself replacement
    - HID installation, because it has poor visibility!!
    - Any other pre cautions ?
    - or should I used public transport instead of buying it

Yar pridor is a good choice but no one likes a downgrade in displacement..FOr a daily 150km trip 125 and above cc displacement is recommended as they can sustain 90 km/hr speeds with ease..Pridor is a comfort ace in Honda's lineup not even CG can match its comfort..I would recommend you to buy a new or used GS 150/Piaggio as it fits your routine bolt on.

There is no bike in 100cc category that matches Pridor in comfort.I am 6 feet tall and it compliments my height

You can ride a pridor continuously @ speeds of 80Km/hr.If you are ok with that then i see no reason in not buying it

But still for long distance 125cc is a bare minimum for hassle free easy commutes

    - How is this bike when specially comes to ride as my daily routine mileage is 150kms
Havent tried 150 kms but my longest trip was 80 Kms.The bike does not tire you out and is very comfortable
    - Fuel Gauge, can I get that option by installing previous CD-100 fuel tank and speedo meter
It is possible but not recommended. It will spoil Pridor looks as there is 10/20% variation of aesthetics b/w pridor and cd-100's tank.Pridor is a fuel efficient bike the conventional reserve will bode well for you as it gives me 50+ avg on speeds of 60-65 km/hr..Just make sure you have enough fuel. The 800ml reserve is good for another 35-40 kilometers.
    - Replace its rear tyre with 90/90-18 for better grip
I am riding it on stock 2.75 service tyre. The bike does not require an upgrade wrt tyre tread/rims.Bike performs well on stock tyres.People change the tyre tread for superstitious mental satisfaction(in case of pridor)
    - Handle grips and the handle itself replacement
Pridor's handle is designed for a conventional straight up position.By installing clip ons you will have to let go comfort for sporty looks(strained wrists @ long journeys and you will tire out soon).Stock handle is perfectly O.K
    - HID installation, because it has poor visibility!!
Well HID is an option for nights, but it has a detrimental effect on incoming traffic,Replace the headlight bulb with a high wattage imported 1.
    - Any other pre cautions ?
Has low bending ratio. So be careful at corners.Do not treat it like a 70 :p.

    - or should I used public transport instead of buying it HELP ::: Honda Pridor :D - smiley tongue out
A motorcycle>Car>Public transport for within city commutes.

Agar app pindi main hotay to meri bike lay jatay aik haftay k liae try kartay phr apna decision letay..I would still advise you to try out pridor extensively before buying(kisi dost k pass to hogi)

Agar family walay 100cc say upar nai janay day rahay to GD-110 try kar lein..Its good when it comes to power and speed but as you are 6'5 dadoo lago ga uspay.its a chuni bike
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.

It can easily do the job and bike is comfortable & smooth

No i won't recommend installing such an huge tyre stock tyre does job but again
if you want to upgrade than 3.00-18 is best choice

Handle is good & driving position is very good no need to change it

HID can be installed in Pridor but i would also recommend using some
good bulb rather than installing HID

I won't recommend installing CD100 tank as it will ruin bikes looks same for CD100 speedo

Pridor 100 is good bike but its not complete error free bike some of its known issues are below
    -- Too Soft Rear Suspenion
    -- 2nd Gear Khattak Sound
-- Handle Is Uncomfortable On Bad Roads or Saying Special On Some Bumps
Mechanics say its exactly same fault as present in CG125 Handle

I think speed should not be problem on pridor it can maintain 80km/h and
as you will be driving bike in city so its quite good speed and yeah Suzuki GD110
is also an good option for you

aap pocho ge k pasand nahin hai to phir aap ne purchase kyon ki hai, to is ka jawab yeh hai k,,, 100 cc ki catogery main sub se best mazboot aur paidaar aur fuel everage k hisaab se pakistan main sub se best bike pridor hai isi leay purchase ki hai,
How is this bike when specially comes to ride as my daily routine mileage is 150kms

For all of you who are saying to go for GD110 our brother's camry height is like 6'5(Mashallah) so it won't be an option . Even i recommended him GD but later thought that it would look like that he is sitting on a kid's cycle

I have driven pridor and for me the bike felt absolutely gutless. And for your height would look like a toy bike as well. If you're sticking to 100cc then get a raider as it has a high seat height, wide handle bars(for comfort) and the best 100/110cc class engine in local bikes(besides gd).

Go for a used one you can have them quite cheap. 80kmh is maintainable for this bike but 90 would stress out the engine over a long distance

I would also like to mention the annoying gear shifter in the pridor.. its the worst gear shifter i have experienced. Try out both and then decide for yourself
