    Unhappy Fuel Average of Honda CG125

    Dear All,
    Assalam Alaikum,

    Hi, I am new to the forum, hope everyone is alright.

    I just wanted to ask you guys that how much km my honda cg125 could make out of 1 litre..??

    Please guys just dont freak out because i have really antique model of cg125 (1984) CDI Converted.

    So, im not sure about its fuel efficiency, the only thing i have noted that yesterday i filled my tank with rs.100 petrol which is 1.05 litre and just ride it to sea view and return (From Kharadar). and all fuel is used up...

    Waiting for your answers guys
    sorry for my bad english. BTW

    Thanks in advance

    @Chaudhary007 mentioned 120+ and people who are new to Pakwheels or recently started posting a lot. If i am not mistaken not long ago you used to claim such stuff (that was before the accident that is), So you kind of satisfy the category.
    I think you are mad cuz he might have indirectly mentioned you as well.

    I think you have misunderstood the concept of choke.
    Choke is used to flood the cold engine(give more fuel) so that it can ignite easily thus helping in cold start. But once engine becomes hot, too much fuel is unable to be burnt completely thus engine start hiccuping/missing and what not. (that's why you are required to turn off the choke once engine is warmed up)

    So if anything, you will get less economy with choke On.

    you are right just one addition is that amount of fuel isnt increased but the amount of air is decreased or choked off (that's why the name choke) in order to make the mixtrue rich. Gradually the rich air fuel mixture should gradually be leaned off when engine gets warm.
    If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there won't be.

    Choke will reduce inside pressure and this will pull more fuel through main jet.

    Fuel doesn't vaporize easily in cold engine so need more fuel inside to create enough vapours to start ignition. (I believe this is the main point, choking air is just initial step to reduce pressure which will cause the fuel to rush in)

    I have deluxe 2012 model.
    @40-50kmph 43-45kmpl
    @50-60Kmph 40-41kmpl
    @60-80Kmph 37-38kmpl

    I have checked this calculations many times.its all depends on riding style and if two persons on bike then average reduced to 4 kmpl

    One more thing.if bike is constantly driven on 80-100kmph then fuel consumption is around 32-34kmpl.
