    Default cg125 normal choke position

    Hello people,
I am new here and I just bought a cg125, now I am having some confusion as to what should be the normal choke position, the owner manual says when the engine is cold keep it in the upward direction and then start the bike. I did that but the bike wouldn't start, I had to push it down and try again, this time it started and engine kept running. After that when I again pulled up the choke lever up the engine died and happened every time. So if i keep it down is there anything wrong with that or it's normal?

I'll be glad if anyone can guide me here.

    Normal choke position is down.
Usually choke is used in winters. In summers no need to use choke in morning.

Thankyou farhansa. One more thing. I just counted 148 kms on bike and i am currently using hioctane for engine running. Before 500kms is it harmlful if i have loaded it with 3 people or ran it at highspeeds ?

    Dont use hi octane.
    Super is enough.
Riding bike with 2 passengers is not good during initial running.

Hi octane will put a lot of presure on the valves. Worst case valves will bend because of it. Hi octane is only recommenddd for 10:1 and above compression engines
