Default HONDA CG 125 DELUXE 2007 a Review

    Hello Pakwheelers,
My name is shoaib usman, i have been thinking for a long time to post a review of my bike.

I bought this Honda CG 125 deluxe 2007 on September 19th, 2007. The bike was booked a week before, cause of delay was the dealer did not have the black color in stock.
This is my very first bike, my own bike after crying for it for 2 continuous years of my O levels.

The best part of being one of the very few owners of Deluxe was that people gave a good look at the bike at signals, or when passing by. Even people asked " YE IMPORT KI HAI?, JAPANI HAI?" and all bike related stuff.
Yes there were people too who said and still don't praise this bike and preferred the classic over it. For me it is love.
Now i have been riding this bike for the past 7 years and believe me it has been hassle free. Ofcourse there were parts availability issues in the begining specially the headlight cowl.
Other than that this bike has been very reliable, durable, and best companion. There has been no fault engine wise but yes the usual wear and tear.
In my opinion this is a really good bike for daily commuting. The best option when there were a very few varieties.
This has a special place in my heart.

MashAllah clean ride and yeah no doubt reliable machine deluxe
atlas honda should have done some changes in 2014 model least least
they could have changed its front cowl with some more aerodynamic cowl
with proper fitting & small size

Deluxe is same bike since 2007 no significant changes so bikes look has become outdated

The bike looks in good condition considering it is in Karachi. The Sea Air is a natural enemy of Chromed parts.

You have driven it only 30000 kms in 7 years but that is no surprise to me because I also drive my chonda 70 at 4500 kms average per year.

@dongiovanni well i would like to tell you that during the initial 4 years the bike had done only 5000 kms. it was since 2012 that i had to ride a lot to office, university and other small trips. yes sea air is the cause of rust which is really hard to maintain.

I have owned deluxe and its much better bike than cg classic (which is in my view the most unpractical bike one can have) the thing ppl prefer cg over deluxe is acceleration which I don't understand why when I need a sudden acceleration and twist throttle the bike instead of giving a good acceleration lift it wheel which I really don't want
