Default NGK D8EA Spark Plug (Japanese)

AoA, hope all of you are fine and enjoying Ramazan.

As the title suggests I am looking for Japanese made NGK D8EA spark plug for my Honda CG 125 1990 (Point Model).

I have checked the shops in Saddar, Committee Chowk and Murree Road, but they have only Chinese made availably with them.

Any body from twin cities can tell where else I can find the same ?

Any member from Karachi or Lahore can do me a favor in procuring the same ? I heard that Karimi Autos, Khudadad Colony have this plug available.

Nadir autos gawalmandi is the official distributer of ngk spark plugs. That is what they told me when i asked ngk pakistan facebook page. I never asked for a point model plug. But maybe they might have it (not sure)

Copy paste of their reply when i asked for an euro 2 spark plug. The euro 2 one is dpR8ea9 i think if i remember correctly. The difference between euro and non euro plug is that the euro plug has blue readings on it and has an R in between and costs about 380rs/plug.

Technically there shouldn't be a difference of plugs in Euro and non Euro as head, cylinder, crank and everything in them is same.

I know but honda mechanics say that 1000 pieces of the engine have been changed in the euro models. They have honda posters of the engine open explaining the new things etc. But i personaly think that the spark plugs are really different. Used old model spark plug and iridium spark plug but nothing satisfied more than the dpR8ea9 spark plug.

Ask them to explain one thing that has been changed and i will show them 1974 workshop manual of CG125 in which the same thing would be ditto same. AHL under complaince of govt to reduce emissions were forced to introduce Euro 2. The only mechanical thing which they did was ASV i.e. removing the harmful gases from the head and re filtering them. Apart from that it's ditto same.

DPR7EA-9 and DPR8EA-9 are stock recommended plugs for CG,

if you want something extra go for NGK G-power platinum plugs
    Haven't used it personally though

Well if you are so determined than i must agree. But i dont know why people then say that even a zero meter euro can never even come close to a non euro bike in a race or so. Some say euro is different and better. I agree that euro is better but if there is nothing changed than i cant say that im right. Then every 125 is the same in speed/life/idle state disregarding the weight of the bike. And have used g power plugs too. Not better than the DPR8EA9

oh yes - fair sales auto parts, he was a member here on PW too. I have bought a lot of oddball parts from him and he has nearly all types of plugs you can want. - I have even bought rotary engine plugs from him.

    to OP.

the D8EA spark plug is also used in a lot of generators, its a pretty common spark plug. But as 90% of the spare parts sellers in Pakistan are uneducated they simply stock "parchoon" maal and never think of the concept of "warehousing" or "knowledge base"

@Xulfiqar & @archon2001, the problem is that I am in Islamabad. I've checked with Karimi Autos at Khudadad Colony, Karachi and they have the plugs available with them. Seems that this item and related stuff is still available in Karachi very easily, as many of the people like the older models of CG there (experienced this after living 26 years in Karachi).
