Default Honda 125 greatest average i ever got

Half liter average with fast and slow speed. 20 km till bike stopped moving

    Another 45 rupees petrol = 0.56 liter.
Average was 28.4 km at the constant speed. Just constant speed of 60 kmph on GPS. Which on speedometer was 70 kmph in half liter petrol of rural areas. You know how their petrol looks like when they already put in the bottle to show us

OIL engine oil : Liqui Moly (first time used)
Bike : Honda CG Classic 125 2014 model

    I was amazed.

    Complete story follows below:

Yesterday, i was coming back from Multan to hometown Kot addu.

Low on petrol except reserve, i thought lets see how far it goes before i start to use the reserve petrol

Not long that after crossing channab river, bike stopped still.

I have a habit of always taking a picture of the bike speedometer and readings whenever petrol finishes.

I turned on the reserve. And thought why not check the average today, 60km still left in journey.

I buy half liter petrol for 45 ( rural area so it was expensive). Turned the reserve off. I ride bike at almost 105 km per hour of GPS speed, on speedometer it is 115kmph.

Size: 102.4 KB. This is when i turn on the reserve again.

And next stop for another half liter petrol was @ Name: ImageUploadedByPW Forums1449073274.361701.jpg

And i drove at a constant GPS speed of 60kmph. Not using hard brakes. Just kept it smooth. And the next stop was at amazing mileage Name: ImageUploadedByPW Forums1449073534.994436.jpg
Views: 540
Size: 93.3 KB till i have to turn the reserve on again. And bike wouldn't start until reserve tuned on.

Which means if i put 85 ruppees petrol in my 125. And ride constantly at 60 kmph GPS speed, it will give 57km per 85 ruppees (a littler here is 77.80 ruppees).

I think its my first time that i checked this way, but now i am hooked on liqui moly too.

    Wish you all good luck.

Your bike's average comes out to be
    52.17 kmpl.
    Good one.
The more speed you want from your ride, the more you must know its engine.

completely possible. And great average. it all depends upon your driving style, area where you are driving and how much load you put on it.

Default Honda 125 greatest average i ever got

I must mention, this average was only received or achieved in the conditions mentioned above. Otherwise, rash driving or driving in city everday an short trips to bazaar and back home give an average of 31-34 on petrol of this city and 40-42 on petrol of another pump in another city.

Lots of variables, but with rash driving and driving at top speed for maybe 50 minutes straight, it gives an average of 30kmpl

Only if i drive at the speed of 60 kmph on gps (70kmph on speedometer) for long route, then maximum average is achieved. I will try again once more.

Load was just one driver 60kg only
    Thanks for replying anyway.

    Again checked the average today.

    0.5 liter = 25 km @ 60kmph GPS speed (70 kmph on speedometer or 7k rpm).

What do you mean by GPS speed and how do you check it. I am sorry if my question is too basic to ask.

By using GPS app on mobile, which is much more accurate compared to the speedometers of bikes and cars.

And its always 10 kmph less than the speedometer speed especially at fast speeds. Such as 120 kmph on speedometer on 125 Cg is actually 110kmph speed.

This is in the manual or somewhere in Law To keep the needle a little bit higher to keep the rider at safe speed when in act he thinks he is overspeeding at the edge of speed limit. Plus it also gives better fuel economy at low economical speed.

your cg125 is really fuel efficient i recommend once try this method carry a bottle
with one liter of patrol drive the bike until patrol completely finishes no reserve than
pour one liter patrol from bottle and check the fuel average

which year cg you have and it definitely seems you are fortunate to have a mechanic
who is tuning your cg very nicely its only because of that you are getting excellent average

He is not in Multan. But Kot addu. He is illiterate yet went to Japan to have course about these bikes and is famous in the entire little city.

Sabir & Saghir. Their father is my current mechanic.

I tried his sons previously but not satisfactory bike result.

Brother bike is 2014 model blue color.

I did not say the city average is 50. Its the constant long route average.
@ABObility brother. What do you mean bewaqoof bna kr khud khush?? Kis mei aur kiya bewaqoofi hei??

    2 people riding = between 110-105 kmph

1 person riding (Me single) =122 kmph.

It doesn't matter how much can you get in half a liter. What matters is practical fuel average. And if you are getting approx 45km/l from your bike, its pretty good. But you are sacrificing A LOT of riding pleasure to attain that.

Personally, i think if a 125cc if giving you 40KM/L, its damn good. Less than that, is not stellar, but OK. Any less than 35, well ... then we are burning money.

Find middle aged mechanics or older and talk to ur mechanics.
I always ask so many question while mechanic is tuning the bike. Such as, why are you tightening the head etc. why using 0.8mm pattri. What will it do?
I make it sound like i am curious, not like a police man inquiring.

They like to reply and guide as well unless cheaters ,
And chotay larkay only open the bolts or clean with petrol. Rest of the main work Ustaad does.

If you are in multan, my relative knows a person for more than 3-4 yrs. and says he also make 125 very fuel efficient. I have not inquired about top speed. I can arrange ur tuning there.
Of if free. In the morning come with me to kot addu, i will take you to my mechanic.

As you feel easy and okay.

    Fe aman illah.

I like to ride fast. But if i am getting 50+ on long routes at 60-80kmph speed (GPS), its not at all unpleasant. But safe as well. And after my bike has become very smooth due to front suspension feel like delux. I enjoy the ride more by being on road for long time. Unless in hurry.

So in city we cannot drive fast, just quick acceleration, also not safe sometimes.
I have been driving fast for 13 yrs or so. But now learning to be slow and constant and also realizing bikes aren't safe if come under an accident.
    So actually enjoying both phases.

@ 60-80(GPS) speed, its quite fast and efficient for my bike to give 50+ km/Liter.

And 42+ in city if good petrol, proper acceleration.

Now i see at average mileage from different angle. Just pleasure of mind.

If i have 3 liter petrol excluding reserve. I will see it as i drove 1 liter smoothly, 1 fast but long route and 1 rough. So only waste fuel on rough driving. Other two made me feel good. Last one liter also felt ok.

Not like taking average of 3 liters which equals to 38-43+ km/l average and feeling , I could do more, or why my bike is not giving more mileage.

Using different petrol. Gives me average like 33 km. i dont know what inside the petrol of that pump.

But i have tried the khokhay wala petrol from rural areas, 45+ average.

    Thanks abobobilly. Strange name though.
