Default Atlas Honda CG125 Dream 2016

    Atlas Honda CG125 Dream 2016 -1718497

Alhamdulillah bought new bike none looked better than this in Atlas Honda product line up.
I was worried about visor noise issue & seat cowl but so far none 2016 owner reported for
any such issue and personally have asked 2-3 owners they said they don't listen any such noises
from bike. I hope issue is resolved. I chose cg dream for style, comfort, freshness & includes lots
of changes so its worth buying in same price as cg classic.

I am very disappointed to update this CG125 Dream is still having visor noise issue. I am really
surprised at those people whom i asked about noisy visor they said no such issue present in their
motorcycles now either they were saying right or they were just lying for their blind love with motorcycle
but i share my thoughts sincerely the noise is definitely present its noticeable at rpm specially 4000-5000
I have raised this issue with Atlas Honda many times and so other fellows also shared but its really sad
they still have not removed minor flaw. I say SHAME ON ATLAS HONDA. This is my 3rd dream series bike
1st CG Dream had noisy 2nd CD70 Dream had also visor noise 3rd now 2016 CG Dream also has noise
Dream series are very good motorcycles and specially the CG Dream is much much better than CG Classic
but their poor careless fitting of visor really ruins the complete pleasure of motorcycle

CG125 Dream: Except the noisy visor, i am really enjoying my time on CG Dream and its really fun to ride
motorcycle the looks are exceptional and riding position is very good for rider and so for pillion its an
very good upgrade from CG Classic in almost same price as CG Classic. CG Dream deserves words of
new model unlike the sticker is launched and called new model. CG Dream is complete difference experience
and certainly feels like an new bike you are riding. CG Dream has complete new freshness & style and specially
new suspension, new handle fitting including new handle & softer sport seat adjustment done to frame for its
installation have added the main fun to ride and with this you have very good riding position. Headlight with h4 bulb is currently the best in terms of light and focus on road because of light design

    CG125/CG Dream Brakes:
Both these motorcycles are having same engine which generates very good
power and bike can touch speeds of 100-110km/h and has very good accelerations so touches high speeds
easily but the bike seriously needs improvement in rear brakes as they are not good enough to slow down bike its an very dangerous motorcycle to ride at high speeds. Don't know why people don't complain for brakes its an serious issue of safety i request and demand Atlas Honda to kindly have mercy on people and improve brakes in CG125

Atlas Honda Quality: AHl does produce very good quality motorcycles but with their now target only
to get as many sales as possible you definitely get errors in brand new motorcycle and there is no
check up done to insure bike is completely ok and ready to deliver to customer which an big brand
like Honda must insure but unfortunately they are not doing let me share my experience with current
purchase CG Dream starting with 1st issue motorcycle from factory came with noisy visor 2nd issue
it was producing chee chee sound because no grease was given to center axle 3rd issue rpm meter
little bit shakes 5-6rpm 4th issue from factory there is misalignment in rear rim i was doubting diamond
rear tyre but a mechanic sad there is dent in rim now i have not ridden it on bad roads nor carelessly so
its definitely from factory gotten such poor quality rim or may be tyre
Update Tire/Rim: Yesterday went and got the spokes settings done that mechanic said rims are ok just needed
to be tighten up main issue is with the tires both tires are misaligned so you would still face issue of wobbling
and shaking its really unfortunate i got both bad tires in my brand new bike.

    Default Tire Replaced

Rear tire replaced in warranty but not for free mechanic took 400
Tire given is Diamond Rush though i asked for Servis Winner and
paid him money also and he just changes the rear tire though front
is also faulty but nothing i can do much in this honda mechanic in
my city is damn strict and too much loyal to company

so i am happy & disappointed but atleast rear tire issue resolved and main trouble
it was giving to bike with pillion bike was running as if tire is punctured

Not boring infact interesting Amjad bhai bus reserve se note kr lena mileage uskay badh jo bhi petrol dalwaingay us pe jub reserve lgega phir note kr lena mileage. Matlab last reserve to current reserve. Aur last reserve k badh jo petrol dalwaingay uski quantity ko last reserve to current reserve mileage se divide. Example last reserve to current reserve 100 kilometers. And you filled
    2 liters so divide 100 % 2 = 50 Means average kmpl is 50.

Umer bhai i don't use this method but thanks for explaining in detail regarding
this method it looks convenient as compare to what i do with empty tank i fill patrol
of 1 liter from bottle and than ride until patrol finishes

will try your suggested this method this time "reserve to next reserve" method many fellows
use this method also but i have always preffered to use other method

Amjad bhai you can't get accurate mileage with your method by putting 1 liter in empty tank. 1 liter me sayy 300ml tow waisay hi idhar udhar tank mei bikhra hota ha aur bike stop ho jati ha. I hope you got my point.

    Umer

4th test is a bit disappointment for me. Me usually ride on max speed so I may not expect average for it.
However, what is is top speed so far ??

CG does drinks patrol if ridden harsh like high speeds and quick accelerations
But brother i am expecting some more km/lt out of it at high speed like 80km/h
it was quite wind on highway and i am tall so it really hurt the fuel economy
and in 3rd test it really proved if there is too much weight on bike it will drink patrol
also because of stress on engine and it was ridden also at quite decent medium speed 70km/h

it gave very good average in 1st and 2nd test

    Default Exceptional Fuel Average

Did one more test on fuel average of CG Dream bike started giving missing
right before patrol pump though there was patrol in bike in reserve but i decided
to check the fuel average so refueled the bike with one liter patrol to check average
and results came best so far and pretty amazed with this much fuel average from
    old cg125 engine

    Test

Rode the bike 0-55km/h round about 26km pillion riding including some city riding
Rider = with 165kg weight on bike and rest km's traveled single rider 105kg.

    Result = 58km/lt

Yes bro its giving me this average, you can find other 4 tests also
on this page and it impressed also in some tests their.

i had CD70 2014 i used to drink alot of patrol if ridden at 60-70km/h
and i think main reason for it is because its small engine so at 60km/h
70cc engine is on high rpms and it needs to work as compare to 125cc
engine which runs very low on rpms at these speeds

i will test on more average of my bike at constant high way riding on these
    two speeds 60km/h and 70km/h

I am very disappointed to update this CG125 Dream is still having visor noise issue. I am really
surprised at those people whom i asked about noisy visor they said no such issue present in their
motorcycles now either they were saying right or they were just lying for their blind love with motorcycle
but i share my thoughts sincerely the noise is definitely present its noticeable at rpm specially 4000-5000
I have raised this issue with Atlas Honda many times and so other fellows also shared but its really sad
they still have not removed minor flaw. I say SHAME ON ATLAS HONDA.

U should get the bolts of the visor tightened..

If the problem still persists then it is because of resonance. Everything has a natural frequency at which that thing vibrates. When your engine frequency matches with the resonance frequency of the visor it begins to vibrate. You can dampen this effect by sticking small weights on the inside of the visor near the edge like a peice of metal. Experiment with different weights to get better results.

its not a big deal to install just an visor in motorcycle.

its shameful they have not done anything about this issue

Yes atlas honda is becoming more and more like chonda. But still until they dont fix this fault in their bikes, people can try this solution to get rid of that pesky vibrating noise
