    Default How Is Honda 125 Deluxe???

    I am going to buy a bike and ,make decision to buy Honda 125 deluxe .Me often visit this form and by this i get lot of information. Please tell is my decision right..???

    k heres a question... Is CG 125 better or Suzuki GS 150?

    And why would you say so ? (apart from the obvious 125 cc 150 cc difference)

    I am looking for bikes these days and can use some comparisons. Thanks.

    yaar there is no comparison between the suzuki GS and honda CG series...they are two very different classes

    ok, lemme put it another way:

    If both GS 150 and CG 125 were available for the same price and petrol prices were not an issue for you, which one would be a better buy and for what reason?

    I know this might be kind of a wierd question, but just soliciting responses.

    EDIT: Never mind guys, I found a whole thread on the comparisons.

    the GS 150 is far more stable...comfortable...powerfull and manouverable than the 125...the cg 125 shakes violently at 100km...however the gs stays rock steady even on 120

    @shaanii123 and everybody else.

    Yara I am going to apply for my bike's registration sometime this week. I hate the big and ugly rear number plate that you get for bikes. the front (smaller plate) looks good, but i dunno what sort of a jerk designed the ugly 14"-tv-looking rare number-plate for bikes.

    i've noticed a few bikes like Shaani's where ppl have just thrown away the rear number plates and used alternate plates. some have used the front(smaller one) plate in the rear. and for front, there's either no plate or they've manually designed one.

    i just wanted to know if the traffic sargents are gonna make it an issue if i use the front number plate at my bike's rear and for front i either leave the space empty or just get a yellow small number plate made for that myself?

    bus...mai actually northren area gaya thaa...tou suna tha k ISB mai prob hoe gi...tou i installed dis yellow ****..
    aur...wapis aa k...1 week..mai nay nai change ki..aur..
    rear plate waz like a leaf...
    zigzags aa gae..haiN bcoz of lhr trrafic...
    and..the parking lots...u knw..kaiesa salooq krtey haiN..bikes k saath..
    well..front..change kro *** tou..
    pehli nazar...MAMU ki parey gi..mamu means...new chillar..
    aur...pechlay pr...mujahid ki nazar parti hai..10-20 Rs dai daina.

    lhr mai...rehty hoe...in kaamoun ki no tension...
    sab ghalat kro...buss..
    helmet pehnoo...bcoz..its juz for u..# plate..ko apni degrees k saath sanmbhall k rakhoo...as i did ...wid wrapin paper..

    yar shaani, i think the 'new' rear number plate is the same in both cities or may all over punjab i think.

    it sucks yara, yellow color ki takhti lagti hai... peechay se bike ki saari look maari jaati hai.
    mein yehi soch raha hoon k agli wali plate peechay laga loon bike k, pichli waali phaink doon, or aagay koi ore yellow color ki choti si plate laga loon.

    bas sargents ki tension hai, caz yeh meri first bike hai and i dont know how to handle those traffic walas

    any tips would be appreciated.

    A good thing is that Honda Atlas Made Some new changes in Honda Deluxe..They did its weight low .. and some diff changes in Engine and after that it will much better then normal 125 even then Suzuki 150 Bike..the are doing changes in deluxe are...for copmeting the new growing Markit of other bikes... and New Delux Will compete all Bikes in markit...said the Honda Dealer proudly.He also said that me will get new deluxe not old one (Which is just new but after coming new deluxe it will call old Deluxe) ..
    Its my luck that i am geting new deluxe bcz only the diff of 1 or 2 days and i thanks to u all and thanks to this forum bcz my first search in this froum and read to u all and in between the days passed. Me wait for bike and now going toget newHot Bike..

    While passing the days in wait of my bike i amj ust thinking that what changes the Atlas wil do in Deluxe. thea are reducing its wiehgt....HOW.!!??Z Are they changing in its body and WHAT kind of engine changes willbe??
    Plz people tell me what changes can be done in deluxe.
    When me get New Deluxe me will post its pics in this forum.
    then we compere our ideas what we was thinking and what is this bike. this shows how much we close to bikes? I Always Love Bikes.

    SABAR KA PHUL LMEETHA HOTA HAY..
    I am thinking of those peoples who got yhere 125deluxe a month a go even a week a go.. but just in a month here bike is going to be older one.. OLD DELUXE..
    Already it have not any resale value (bcz of its wieght) andafter coming new Deluxe what the value their bikes have??Why company not announces its new models or give shcedule of coming models or changes..???
    and theres also no useful data in Honda Atlas website for deluxe or any coming changes..?
    they made changes in honda 100 but didnt tell to consumers..they made that bike Honda 100cc really good and much better then prevoius (just three weeks later model).
    WHY there behavour is lke this ???

    Asim Khan i love to see Honda Deluxe(bcz i am going to buy new deluxe so getting some crazy about it) ..Thanks for posting pics and giving information
    i want to say u two things..!
    FIRSTt: Plz Plz Plz always do clean ur bike. daily clean it..if u go to long jounrey then after finsihing journey ur first choice should be clean ur ride..Budy love ur ride.Just love it as u love ur best person in life..it can be a best patner.
    u can see FooSa bike ..HOW perfect is that bike.!! and SHani bike HOW nat and clean his bike.!
    SECOND: Honda made some changes in deluxe. The rear and front tyre is more thick then
    non-deluxe then why deluxe havnt more road grip and then how its better on
    highway???yep its 12 kgs havy then non-deluxe.

    Thnx SunnyBhai, i will do as u n Shanii123 said.
    i've 2006 model of d-lux, with same graphics atlas honda release its 2007 model, there is no difference when u see both models but when u drive it 2006 model is a way better, like 91's first CDI, 97,99,2003 model (some of them are POWER PLUS editions) they are better rides. like that 2006 is better. i didnt heard here abt new d-lux, lets see when it comes to market.
    regarding tyres, its tyres are round (normally used in sports ones), with CG-125 here guys do wheeling, zig-zag, etc with d-lux it's possible but very dangerous, its round tyres get slipped. coz of sporty wheel its speed more then normal one (one reason more is its aerodynamic design), but dont have raod grip. when u r riding u can judge one thing urself too, while riding CG-125, bike itself lowered its position to road, while d-lux dont lowered itself (dont grip the road).
    u know in traffic jam, we moslty drive our bikes on footpaths, so once i tried to do same, footpath hieght was around 1.5" or so, i did that manytimes on CG-125, so i tried to get over the footpath but i failed coz my bike slipped, me n my freind fall on earth, we had a minor injury in our knee;s. i tried zig-zag on it but always feel like bike is slipping, (its my personal experience, maybe others didnt notice it).
    CG-125's front portion (front tyre, handle, tank) is lighter then back portion, when u intially start riding normally its front wheel jumps into air, while in d-lux front in rear portions both are heavier, it dont have that much pick in 1st gear, but u can beat any CG in 3rd gear easily (not in city area, i tries it on highway).

    @ SunnyBhai..lolz...would u like to explain how Delux is better than GS150....haaann????

    man you can fallow ur liking but shuld not neglect facts...
    u r saying tht delux has some engine changing...MAN..honda waly aj bhi OHV tech use kar rahy hain 125 main..
    even in cd70 and rest cd175,cd185,cd200 road-master all are solid, no cam problem...
    gs150 has the same tech plus new electronic ignition, only issue its need proper tunning..kabhi achi tunned GS chalain... and the rest u wil know urself better...Solid OHC engine...with no time...0 to 100...Yo!!!!

    and u guys if remembered some time ago..a member if Pakwheels POPATUBRO...having GS-150, he traveled Lahore to Multan (357 Kilmeters) in 4 hours and 26 minutes...fuel averege was 40km/liter..wuld u believe...??? even he achieved 120kl/h..

    delux or non delux se agar 357km 4:36 mints mai achieve kar ke dekhain...phir fuel averege batain...lolz....
