Default Fli_Gti, Spectra, Levin, others.... Power Windows?

Guys, Power windows are operational only when the ignition key=ON (on step before START). Is it possible to have power windows operate without key, so that the inhabitants can operate windows independently (as in manual windows case), would a separate battery and wiring is required??? ..... thx

cons:misuse by children/ppl, battery run down, but possible by changing/altering in wiring.

it can be done by alteration in wiring but best is to keep it the way it is.

Well Kashraf I thinks its possible. I have heard of an SE-Saloon where a person has installed a security system.
And even if the power windows were not properly closed. The security system first of all closes the windows and than locks the car. For further info contact Owais in OMG.
If you walk away from your car and don't look back, you have bought the wrong car.

i think if power lead is connected directly with the battery it should work. like some guys have there decks connected directly.they can listen to music without car keys LOL.......
but they end up forgetting to shut off the deck at times and end up with a dead battery in the morning LOL
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

Yep that is a big pain. You have to insert key and turn to ignition positioin to move the f-----g window.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

@spectra... nothing yet bro, but am to contact the power windows guy in melody in this week... and frankly I think it is less riskier than the direct audio system thingy... since while inside the car, one uses windows only occasionally (unless you start playing with them )... whereas the advantage is much more.
