    All, I need to ask a couple of questions.

    Firstly, when I bought my car a couple of weeks back, the driver side seat belt buckle was not present. Dewan guys say they don't have it and I am not sure if they can actually get something like this for me. Can someone please guide me where I could get the buckle from? I really feel uncomfortable driving without seat belt.

    Secondly, I have a question regarding the twin headlights. I have noticed that when a flash my headlights or drive at high beam, only the inner lights are illuminated and the outer ones get turned off. Is there a way to change this in such a way that flashing and high beam has both the sets turned on?

    I am actually traveling to Lahore this weekend, so most probably it won't be possible.

    I had some work to do in the standard chartered branch right next to 7th Ave in the morning today. I know it is right next to your office so was trying to reach you. I guess you were busy at that time. Wanted to show off my lady in red :-)

    AOA all spectra people here.
    Im also a proud owner of spectra.Its a 2002 model,silver on CNG.To be very honest i bought spectra against all odds but
    at the end all those who were against it liked the car once the saw and sat in it.Some of them tell me to find one for them as well.One out of them has already bought one from lahore.Its a wonderful car cuz i dunno what priorities do we have once we buy a car?.For me it is safety,comfort,style and space.Spectra gives u all these things.I have noticed that our people lack boldness when they decide to buy a car
    barring very few.Anyways so far the car is doing fine.some people complain of back firing in spectra-just use bosch super4 sparkplugs and then see the results-AMAZING!.Plz stay in touch everyone.

    @aesthete
    Hi and Lo beams in Spectra's head light are mutually exclusive (at least this is the case in my car). I have got a relay b/w Hi and Lo beams so when Hi beam is switched on, it also switches on the Lo beam. In this case all four lights in front are on. When light switch is moved to Lo beam, the Hi beam remains off.

    In my opinion this is the way it should have been in the first place. Otherwise, its simply waste of equipment.

    @Spectra
    Which is the best place to get Spectra tuned correctly.

    Can I tune it at home (petrol and CNG). I know that I don't have that scanner, but still there might be something that can be done at home. No mechanic is going to sweat as much on my car as I am ready to, for tuning it.

    Bad tuning has been a constant pain for a few months now. I usually go to Twin Cities, but for some reason most of the people I have encountered over there are quite hopeless w.r.t tuning.

    Thank you very much in advance, as I am quite sure that I will recieve a useful reply from you one day.

    @Faisal

    you can check plugs, filters and fluids at home and thats pretty much it. Also u can clean the throttle body after every 40000 Kms. Idlke speed actuator needs service afte every 10000 Kms especially if u r running CNG.

    @Spectra

    Thanks so much for quick response. but what about the following:

    1. Setting idle RPM on petrol and cng
    2. minizing vibrations at idle RPM
    3. I also think I have a problem of low pick on petrol (compared to good old times)

    Is there any thing that I can do about these. I know there are two screws in the pipe that goes from air filter box to the engine, but I don't know what they do. There is also a screw at left-back of engine compartment that is used to adjust amount of petrol going into the engine, again this is all I know about it.

    My car's RPM gets a good dip when engine is left idle on cng, which causes it to stall in most cases. I know this can be fixed, most probably, by cleaning the idle actuator, but this was supposedly cleaned just a week ago by a mechanic at twin cities, so I thought it should not be a problem, though of course it can be.

    I really appreciate your help. Thanks again.

    @spectra:
    All I needed was throttle body service. But I will still appreciate if you could tell me how to set idle rpm on petrol and cng, as at this point it ranges from 1100 - 1500, when it should be 800. Thanks.

    @lodhi7:
    There is a fat black pipe going from the air filter box to the engine block. on the engine end there is a grey-coloured metallic component. This is the throttle body. Actuator is black in colour and located behind (and connected to) the throttle body.
