    Default Santro plus heating problem

I have a 2002 model santro. I am facing heating problems in it. A couple of days back I had a leakage on the radiator cap a mechanic on the way made the fan direct temporarily while I reached the shop to get a new radiator cap. I drove with a direct fan for about 5 mins after that I replaced the cap refilled the water and made the fan auto again, the next day I went and had the radiator serviced too.
Now I am facing this problem that when I drive with the AC on the temperature remains fine but when I drive with the AC off the temperature goes above half and car heats up.
Where can the problem be do I need to replace some sensor ?

seems like the fan is not switching on itself when the temperature rises, check its wiring, and because it is the most recent "fix" applied to your car, there is a high chance that the fault is right there.

The fan does switch on but then switches off again after a short while. Maybe some wire is loose or maybe there might be a problem with some sensor caliberation or something but I have no idea what kind of sensor is there for the fan or where the sensor is.

it look like you have got air in your system.
Completely flush the cooling system and refill the radiator..that should solve the problem.

Turns out that the problem was with the fan sensor (most probably). Plugged out the fan sensor and cleaned it and its been running fine uptil now.
