    Default CNG maintenance weekend on my spectra

    This saturday i took my kia for CNG service after a long time. Service took place at Prime CNG by Mr. Sanaullah who has started his own work with this name after leaving job from Twin City Automobiles.

    He is very expert in Hyundai and Kia vehicles, although he is equaly good about other brands but i go to him specificaly because of his expereince with KIA

    CNG Cylinders were drained for any oil residue, CNG kit was opened up for cleaning as well. Finaly i took to Al MUbarik CNG on sunday for checking the computerised adjustments of Lambada controller which were undisturbed.

    Some pics

    Opening up the cylinder. Dont get jealous of the boot space in spectra please

    @Ser_Gtr , Bhai Oil in CNG Cylinder keep on increasing by few drops every fill-up, it all depends upon the milage done and the size of the Cylinder.
    In my experience, my Daewoo which has a 60 liter (big) cylinder does not need any Draining after some 55,000kms on CNG, ok.
    Now, about Small Cylinders, such as Kia Spectra's, it has Two 27 Liter Cylinders, Oil is collected @ double the pace of a 55/60 liter cylinder, thus it needs Draining quite early like 30k or 40k kms.
    For CNG Kit, You can get it Drained and tuned up for better performance from a good CNG mechanic. Kit's Service should be at every 25,000kms, which can be dragged to 50,000kms if you dont feel any missing problems, my Daewoo has a Landi-Renzo, Un-serviced for 55,000kms
    Do keep changing the Air-Filter every 4,000/5,000kms max. As the conditions of Karachi these days are too dusty.

    @SER_GTR:

    oil in regulator will damage the diaphragms eventually due to contamination within oil. btw, u'd face starting trouble with oil in regulator.

    @Ser_Gtr
    Oil in cylinder is checked by first checking the CNG Kit. If there is oil in the kit, it means that there is probably oil in the cylinder as well. Only than the cylinder is cleaned.

    about 3-4 months earlier....i opened the drained nut located on the bottom of regulator i.e of 12mm to check any oil.....
    there no sign of oil like thing.........its all dry...not even a single drop........!
    b/w my engine revs fine MASALLAH and no missing after replacing PLUG wires with 8mm silicon one and 4 tip plugs..
    i am facing backfiring problem but i overcome on that also...
    now idle was smooth like a ideal idle .......
    i am just confused about milage issue as its decreased a bit from earlier...maybe bad gas as major issue in KHI alwayz
    also road conditions after rains are more worse than before...
    bump ,broken roads and holes after every foot.....!!
    in KHi SUSPENSIONS of all cars are on grant nowdays
