    Default TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG

    Salaam.

    I and my FAT RIDE (SANTRO) faced PUNCHER TYRE on the way at FRIDAY MORNING . Both faced this undesired REALITY for the first time. As it is on CNG so I took the TRUNK PICS where it absolutely SHINES and it really deserves a real RESPECT in its class.

    TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG -493558

    TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG -493559

    TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG -493560

    The total capacity is 14 kg + 14 kg + 14 kg=42 kg
    .

    As it was my first ever experience, I successfully did change the TYRE in 15 mins.

    Later my father told me that the JACK isn’t well and doesn’t work PROPERLY too. One has to push REAL HARD for getting some OUTPUT.

    Now I also have to buy a JACK for this RIDE. So tell me about the price of JACK.

    And also post some COMMENTS on the TRUNK of this small CAR which has got CNG as well
    .

    LOLZ.

    Its totally CAPACITY is 42 KGs. They r mini CNG CYLINDERS.

    Usually all other CARS in its class comes with a BIG 40 KG SINGLE CYLINDER where u also LOST the whole TRUNK SPACE in a CAR.

    But it is not the CASE of SANTRO

    Nice to save the space , but as we know after some times we need to service of cyl (got some liquid in them) .

    will it not costly to service all these 3 ?

    The SERVICE of the CNG CYLINDER is not so OFTEN like one don't hav to CLEAN the CYLINDER after one month.

    Cleaning requires after 4 - 5 YEARS depending upon the MILAGE done as well.

    I don't think so, i would be COSTLY. But i havn't experience it yet.

    @u4usman4u

    Agreed with monthly basis , but I think will need to have service on yearly basis (medium consumption) as most of GNG Stations are not up to the mark.

    @All
    Personally, I Like that multi cyl. idea.

    can anyone tell me , may we same type of fitting (might be only 2 cyl) in other cars (meharan, alto, chey , QQ)

    such a cyl are available in open market?

    I have nothing to do with this CNG setup.

    This CNG setup is
    only
    PRESENT in SANTRO CLUB GV & SANTRO EXECUTIVE GV.

    And all other small CARS comes with single BIG AWFUL CYLINDER which unfortunately CONSUMES all the TRUNK SPACE of a small CAR.

    This type of CNG SETUP can be installed in any small CAR. But it requires a lot of work done at TRUNK DEPARTMENT.

    SANTRO GV is specificaly designed for running the car on CNG as its milage is also good. These pics speaks itsself about this car.

    @guybrush

    I forgot to mention that the total cost of filling the empty cylinders is Rs. 220 - 240.
