    Default TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG

    Salaam.

    I and my FAT RIDE (SANTRO) faced PUNCHER TYRE on the way at FRIDAY MORNING . Both faced this undesired REALITY for the first time. As it is on CNG so I took the TRUNK PICS where it absolutely SHINES and it really deserves a real RESPECT in its class.

    The total capacity is 14 kg + 14 kg + 14 kg=42 kg
    .


    As it was my first ever experience, I successfully did change the TYRE in 15 mins.

    Later my father told me that the JACK isn’t well and doesn’t work PROPERLY too. One has to push REAL HARD for getting some OUTPUT.

    Now I also have to buy a JACK for this RIDE. So tell me about the price of JACK.


    And also post some COMMENTS on the TRUNK of this small CAR which has got CNG as well
    .

    Nice space saving by CNG cylinders. To apply Jack it depends on how you apply it. whether you are applying in correct direction or are you applying jack near a tyre where there is a whole weight of car because your car is half on road and half on side kacha. Then it becomes difficult to carry car with small jack.

    U may be right. As it happens for an ametuer.

    I also saw a TAXI DRIVER who successfully changes the TYRE in 5 mins.

    @lo gos
    man how much it cost . i have 50 kg of cylinder and suppose i want to change it to three 16 kg multiple cylndrs in Mehran is it possible ? and how much ll be the cost of it ..thnx

    KIA CLASSIC is SEDAN and doesn't belongs to the same category of SANTRO.

    U can also find these types of CNG SETUPs in SPECTRA & LIANA aswell.

    What do u say about the CNG only in SMALL CARS ???

    Actually HYUNDAI designed its TRUNK specificly for CNG purpose instead of designing the TRUNK with the SPARE TYRE.

    To fit these type of CYLINDERS in CITY. First u should hav to RUIN the TRUNK.

    BTW i don't hav my PERSONAL STEERMATIC.

    ....hmmm yar i envy you....! ive got a club(not a GV club) just got CNG fitted and trust me people i now consider that I DONT have a trunk...i'll upload the pics soon...hopefully tomorrow!

    @u4usman4u

    ive got the same ride as yours.the space is not that much (a stanadard sized bag cannot fit in)coz of the extra wheel and jack stuff.for this purpose shoping bags are to be used thats a bit anoying.but its got boot space more than any in its class.
    millage with ac is not that good above 120kms hour
    but this car has some running power thanks to its wt to power ratio.

    but the steering wheel is too much hard even harder than a mehran. do u have the same point of view about the steering,or the problem is with my ride.
    Past cant be brought back ..but future can be made even better than the Past..if one wants to.. ....

    yarr i cannot stop laughing at some ppl .. this type of multiple cylinders setup was also present in old santro .. (1 with high lights). its nothing new at all...
    however i have never seen a non ff cng like this ..
    if logas sir can fit it .. then whats the price and which car is the best for it ...

    @ rajafahadk

    thats means i can convert in to a execuitve model by adding
    cups,the steering kit,spoiler,side skirts. ive seen a upgraded model of santro in wich they have sun shades on the windows and some platic moulding gives a nice look.

    do the hyndai workshop do conversions, or the local mechanic can do the job.
    Past cant be brought back ..but future can be made even better than the Past..if one wants to.. ....

    @janleva

    I m going to reply u from downwards.

    First u mentioned that the STEERING of SANTRO is much HARDER than the STEERING of MEHRAN.

    U r absolutly right in this CASE. I also observe this. But it isn't a BIG ISSUE at all.

    U can easily covert the STEERING of SANTRO into POWER STEERING, if u want, which u can also find in SANTRO EXECUTIVE.

    And above all this POWER STEERING is all GENUINE means no DANGER and costs about Rs.12000.

    It isn't the case of MEHRAN. Isn't it ???

    YES, u can easily covert the whole SANTRO CLUB into SANTRO EXECUTIVE later by installing certain ACCESSORIES.

    A local AUTOMOTIVE SHOP can easily do the task of POWER STEERING in SANTRO.

    I ask this price of POWER STEERING from Hyundai workshop.

    yaar is nanay say trunk main aap kya kuch rakho ***
    aur jahan baat rahi kia classic ki to dewan walon nay us main bhi space ko zayada karnay kay liay 2 cng tanks fit kiay hain. 27*2. so we reached lahore to faisalabad non sotp easly.
