    Default TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG

    Salaam.

    I and my FAT RIDE (SANTRO) faced PUNCHER TYRE on the way at FRIDAY MORNING . Both faced this undesired REALITY for the first time. As it is on CNG so I took the TRUNK PICS where it absolutely SHINES and it really deserves a real RESPECT in its class.

    TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG -493558

    TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG -493559

    TRUNK of SANTRO along with CNG -493560

    The total capacity is 14 kg + 14 kg + 14 kg=42 kg
    .

    As it was my first ever experience, I successfully did change the TYRE in 15 mins.

    Later my father told me that the JACK isn’t well and doesn’t work PROPERLY too. One has to push REAL HARD for getting some OUTPUT.

    Now I also have to buy a JACK for this RIDE. So tell me about the price of JACK.

    And also post some COMMENTS on the TRUNK of this small CAR which has got CNG as well
    .

    @zxmco125

    Actually u r not getting the POINT.

    KIA CLASSIC is not the RIVAL of SANTRO.

    KIA CLASSIC is parallel to other 1300 CC cars and not 1000 CC cars.

    Got it or not ????

    The direct RIVALs of SANTRO r CULTUS, VITZ and JOY or may be ALTO being a 1000 CC small CAR.

    U can compare SANTRO with these cars and not the BIG CARS.

    Isn't it ???

    well there is no doubt that this Arrangement saves space but dont be fooled by the pictures. its doesnt include the spare tyre that takes about 20 % of the space plus creates awkward space left I mean that you dont get whole chunk of rectangular space.

    during my one year experience with exec GV I noted

    94 kms with A/C city driving
    123 kms max without A/C city

    plus you need to get the cylinders filled earlier than 55kg big one

    but at any given time I would prefer santro's arrangement over one big cylinder

    p.s there is not market solution available becuase all cars that I know off have circular space for spare tyres while santro has square space to accomodate the cylinders though if someone has comeup with a solution without damaging the original body do let me know

    @Guys, just curious

    Wouldn't one big 42Kg cylinder weigh less than 3 14Kg cylinders? Because there would be a marked increase in the cylinder casing area (combined). Hence the added weight of the extra metal required for the three casings.

    So wouldn't that increase the over-all load on the car?

    Just a thought.

    well yes and no, 42 or 50 or 60 is actual weight of cylinder and doesnot hold 60 kg of gas
    a 50 kg cylinder can hold upto 11 kg of gas..
    yes u r correct about less gas in 3 cylinders but that difference will be in grams and wont be noticable .. u can say 3 joined cylinders will have longer pipes which will hold more gas than a single cylinder pipe ..

    @sfarhanuddin

    The spare tyre places at the TRUNK of this car, instead of GAS CYLINDER.

    Can u see the CLEAR CARPET in the TRUNK at the bottom right of the 1st pic ???

    There the spare tyre is placed.
