    Default Santro blinking CNG lights

    Hi all,

Just bought a Santro GV (now driven 750 km) and its CNG lights keep blinking while driving. At the first inspection at Hyundai motors after a month I had the mechanic check the issue and after around 20 minutes he came up with the answer that it was due to excessive pressure in the CNG tanks.

However, the lights blink even if the CNG is half filled or fully filled. And it does not matter if I am driving on petrol or CNG. Has anyone on this forum experienced a similar problem? And if so then please tell me what the solution for this is?

I would like to tell some thing about “Das Kolcha” it is like the Pizza of today food. This food was named “das Kolcha” because of King Akbar Hindu cook whose name was das Singh, Which made this for King Akbar

This dish is only available in 2 cities around the world, Once in Delhi city of India and other is in Lahore

Both are same family and they do not transfer there knowledge to another person, so no one know who to make this accept the family of Das singh

I think the King of CNG should eat the food of king

I have a Santro GV too and lights do blink sometimes when the gas is filled by some really good pump with full pressure and the tank is fully filled....but after driving around 10-15 kms they stop blinking....and I am talking about the company fitted kit.

I am having sentro and had the same problem. The problem is because of the presure guage attached with the Kit. I got it replaced in warranty and all is good now. It happens because the gauge sends mal-messages to the gas pressure indicator. The problem starts because of the high pressure wash in the engine area. The water seeps in and the problem starts. In my car the lights stoped blinking after some time but was showing excecive pressure.
Just take it to the Hyundi service center and they should change it. There is no other reason of this problem even if u fill CNG from the station with very good pressure. Again the guage can't measure the actual pressure and the lights start blinking. All folks having blinking lights should get the guage changed. According to the CNG book given with the car, there are pressure release valves with the cylinders. Incase of pressure that can't be measured, these valves should release the extra gas.

    I hope this would help

I have Santro Club 07, I have similar problem, while driving CNG lights starts blinking and engine starts running on petrol, after some time(may vary from 1 t0 15 min drive) it fixed and engine converted back to CNG automatically, this happens for days, and sometime works fine for few days... not consistent.
I have done the complete CNG service, removing oil from cylinder etc. but could not fix this issue, any suggestion?
