    Thanks for keeping me informed. Do you have the breakup of Rs. 10k?

    @rauf24
    315k for a 2002 model Santro is looking high. This price is high even if it has CNG.

    @iamadee

    Hassana111 can give you some details on that.

    The conversation regarding power steering is as follows:
    -------------------------------------------------
    @Hassana111

    Form where did you install Power Steering... I've asked Hyundai Township Motors regarding that few months back and they told me that they don't sell it and install/repair it on any other car except Santro Executive...

    @jehanzeb_riaz

    yaar I got my car converted to power steering from bilal ganj and it cost me 8K.i also asked hyundai township motors and hyundai sialkot motors b4 convertion and they give me cost of 30 to 50 K.i am very satisfied with the conversion and if u want to convert ur car i suggest u to go to place from where i got converted.I have lost the contact no. of the person as my mobile was snatched but when i will visit bilal ganj i will collect the number.

    I think u always go for tunning and engine oil change at Sajjad Jail Road , If it is true then u can save the money by using their offers
    1)Change Oil 2 times and get Oil Filter free 3rd Time
    2)Get 50 % discount on Engine Tunning , Brake Service , Wheel Aligment , Wheel Balance after one Visit

    What was the condition of old timing belt/bearing at 107k?

    I got timing belt/bearing changed at 83000km but they both were in very good condition and could have run easily for another 20k.

    @Xplorer

    Well the condition of old timing belt/bearing was not bad at all... No domage etc... The only difference was, the belt was little bit harder as compare to the newer one. Thats it.

    To me they could have run easily for another 30 to 40K But again nobody wants to risk it and now after changing them I feel the difference for sure.

    A/C belt was creating some noise and when I switched the A/C on I was feeling a jerk and now there is none.

    Engine Vibration is no more there also...

    @Jehanzeb
    It shows that Hyundai has used very good quality parts in engine! bravo!!!
    Have you ever got your tappets adjusted?
    I think even authorized service centers don't have enough knowledge, like here in Islamabad Hyundai Twin City says to change timing belt/bearing and tappet adjustment at only 80k.
    I've also noticed that their service charges are also not equal.
    Charges of Hyundai Sajjad are very reasonable.

    @Xplorer

    Tappet adjustment is part of Tunning dude...
    So whenever you go for tunning your car they should do the followings.

    1. Clean throttle with some spray.
    2. Clean Sensors with spray.
    3. Clean Spark plug and verify the difference between tip and plug. OR change if required.
    4. Clean Air filter. OR change if required.
    5. Check Battery water.
    6. Check Coolent level.
    7. Clean each part of the engine (they open for tunning) with patrol.
    8. Adjustment of Tappets.
    9. Tunning with Hyundai device (I.e Mini computer for EFI cars).

    My Santro Exec, has done around 7800, what maintainance suggestions should I follow?

    I am going to get the oil/filter etc changed in a day or two..

    Allignment, Wheel Balancing, Tuning ?? as i dont have any information about these things a lot..

    Hi Guys
    I have santro 2001 GLS Shalimar rose fully loaded I did 72,000km on petrol but after that .................
    Now it’s on CNG before installing CNG I was afraid regarding the boot space but even after cylinder I can put lot of stuff in it. I think regarding luggage space with CNG santro is best
    It’s a really good in its category especially I like the finishing of Hyundai as compared to Suzuki.
    It has EFI engine
    Genuine fog lights
    Seat belts
    Good AC
    4cly good in Pick
    Genuine Alloy rims
    Matching bumpers and back spoiler
    Defogger on back screen
    Finishing of interior is good
    What else I think it’s enough to enjoy in a car like Santro

    Good Luck to All.
    Cheers
