I'd vote for the customized fabrics... they are bit expensive (3k) but you'll get the value for your money...
i got it done from Masqat Poshish (G-8 Markaz)...
Readymade fabrics are cheaper (1.5k Max) but i don't like 'em

As Earlier I said I never ever heard in my last three to four Santro Driven experience any one make Adjustment of Tappets. Just one time i Heard that Mechanic tighten the Cylinder Head / Tappet Cover Bolts due that that Santro was Drive in very Rough road of AJK in other words, Owner of that Santro Driven it 4X4 Area and Santro get some looseness in Bolts and nuts that why He tighten up.

Rest of all Ur own desire to un-cover Your santro Head Cylinder or not.

in New engines, there are hydraulic lifters which automatically adjust the valve clearance, while in santro there is no hydraulic lifters which means that one need to adjust valve clearance on regular interval (25,000 KMs to 40,000 KMs), because if the valve clearance is too big then there will be low pick and noisy engine while if the clearance is too tight (small) then there is a chance for the valves to be bend and damage. a normal recommended clearance will keep the engine pick good, the fuel economy good, and the engine smoother and less-noisy.

1: how to repair rear fog lines on the rear windshield? mine is broken
2: my steering giving noise like tick tick when i pull my steering to the right and okay on the left side. what is its cause?
3: my car on motorway at a speed of 120KM/H, when i release the accelerator pedal the engine noise increases, when press again the noise vanishes. my car making a significant noise after speed of 100KM/H like brrrrrrrrrrr. my mechanic says its generator bearing sound, is he right?

Appreciate the detailed reply, have you got the tappets adjusted for your car?

1: how to repair rear fog lines on the rear windshield? mine is broken

Search forums there is a topic in probably DIY section to fix broken lines of heater in rear windshield. Shortly a nail polish can be used to fix the broken lines.

Most probably axle of right side has worned out. You 'll need to either repair them which is not recommended or replace them. no idea of the cost.

Not sure about the engine noise. but you should check for wheel bearings as well for the brrrrr noise.

I would answer only the 2nd one...

Your left CV joint is gone... this is because we take U-turns (you must be hearing it on a U-turn or Full right) more than any Full Left turns.. this results in wearing-out of the CV joints faster...

In general, if you hear tik tik when turning right, this means the left CV joint is gone.. if you hear tik tik when turning left, this means that your right CV joint is gone....

    NGK BKR5EIX-11 for iridiums
    DENSO IK 16 iridiums
    NGk BKR5EGP Platinums
    NGK BKR6E-GP platinum

NGK BKR5ES-11 Standard (as recommended by user manual)
Champion RC9YC4 or RC10YC4 Standard (as recommended by user manual)

Above info i have gathered from the experts' input here at Pakwheels...ppl suggest that platinums work great...there is hardly any need to go for iridiums.

Hello all, can anyone guide me about the basics of maintaining a Santro Club ? I recently got a Santro Club and am a new driver. Plus can anyone guide me to a good auto electrician to get my headlights fixed. The visibility is poor on them at night.

    Thanks !
