I hold cultus for more than 4 years and Santro for one year.. than shifted back to Cultus; Reasons;
I shared my opinion to change from SANTRO to again in Cultus. May be most people do not agree with this
- Back seat is so uncomfortable and short of space comparative to Cultus, Even you cannot pull up back glass up smoothly while sitting 3 person on back. the handle touches the seat
- Checking my Santro and my friend's SANTRO who is still in love with this car, I concluded that its starts giving noices "Khar Khar" just like cultus. If you go for repairs etc the santro is much expensive to care than cultus.
- The driver seat and stearing combination do not match and shows uncomfortable feeling like driving by standing in the car, whereas cultus has seat and stearing combination and height at comfortable position.
- SANTRO shape gives family look car with children sitting in back and casual traveling to market etc. Whereas Cultus gives a Middle level executive look with coat hanging back site. (This is why all major corporates in Pakistan give cultus to their employees not SANTRO)
utterly childish. Please learn to respect other's views specially if they are in contrast with your thoughts...thats a great source of learning at least.
I just want to have opinion from people who like to own santo..These are my reservation for santo and i want to get feedback on this from SANTRO lovers.. .. Its not the matter of hate or like.. just sharing the features and problems.

2:I don't agree that any santro is much expensive in repairs than cultus, if you go to 3s dealers then even cultus is much expensive, and if you go to local shops, and chinese parts as every suzuki owner claim its cheap is also cheap for every other non-suzuki parts. i have purchased the steering rubber boot for Rs. 75 from Fahad autos near ABL chorr chowk Rawalpindi, my friend bought for Rs. 75 same price from the same shop for his Mehran. if you want prove i will give the shop number and ask yourself. for karrh karrh noises, i think every Pak made car will do that, though santro is made from almost 70% imported parts. Suzuki is almost Pakistani made.
3:If you drive any sedan car Like corrolla and Honda you will feel height like santro, but in cultus, alto. mehran you will feel like more near to earth. it is personal preference what hight you choose, i personally like the hight and position of the steering of santro. also like by females
4: Yes it is given to +55 years old manager in our organization, agree with you, because they memorize the era of khyber while sitting in Cultus, Unko apni Jawani yad ati hy es ko daikh daikh kar. Thats why major organization keep their employees will trained and satisfied to enhance production.

My Santro is 2004 Exec and it has problem of Back firing on CNG and its Air Filter Box opens itself with patakha. Machenic Said to Change Coils.
Kindly give suggestions regarding back firing and how to resolved it ?
What brands and prices of Coils and Plug wire etc avaible in market and also prices ?
in the end what to do before doing any expense on it until or unless i am sure for the exact fault...

My santro had a hard clutch from the day i purchased it. Even after clutch cable service from Hyundai Workshop at Swan camp the problem persisted.
Yesterday while coming back from University the clutch cable cracked the firewall. (Came right through it). Its a common problem with santro as told by mechanic. So people with hard clutch problem should really look into it. Even though clutch doesnt slips but its pressure plate that gets hard with time. (Even develops tiny cracks).
So today i spent whole day at workshop.
1st got steel plates fitted both from inside and outside to the place where clutch cable bolts were attached.
Then Got a brand new clutch plate + pressure plate from saddar (SECO brand, korean made). And got it fitted. Now clutch is super smooth plus engine noise is reduced dramatically.
Now expenses :
Clutch plate kit (with pressure plate) Korean = Rs. 2300
Clutch bearing (Original Made in France) = Rs. 850
Zic Gear Oil @ 430/Liter. Total 3L = Rs. 1290
Coolent 2L (for 50-50 dilution) = Rs. 280
labor (Includes refabrication of firewall + Clutch plate kit installation)= Rs. 1500
Total approx Rs. 6300
Satisfaction of Mind = Infinite.

Which coolent you poured ? I am asking this cuz most off the shelf coolents are already premixed in 50-50 (or 30-70) proportion and dont require further dilution.

The mechanic was asking for the same thing i.e removal of engine + dashboard but i didnt let him do that. I asked him to remove the clutch pedal from inside, from outside i told him to remove the vacum pipe from master brake cylinder for ease of work. He pushed back the bent firewall from inside by hammering. Then i went to a steel worker, got two 4" x 3" 14 gauge steel plates, got em drilled using clutch cable joint gasket as a template. Came back, asked the mechanic to fit those plates (one on inside and one from outside). And finally fitted clutch cable back on those plates using Inch long bolts. Problem solved.
Its always in your best favor to keep a strict eye on mechanics as mostly many on them are just trying to experiment there jugaad ideas on your vehicle.
It was Warco i guess. The one of green color. I used too cans of 1L each.
