Now i am confused should i go with my mechanic or go with Zic A+ normally?

    go with zic A+ normally.

    never do it guys

u r going to damage engine head block ..........

( sudden cooling will contract and deshape water lines and adjacent area , one of reason cars have thermostat valves )

always use preheated water ....never use lawn pipe or tap cold water

regarding caltex coolant never use it pure mix it (40% water 60% coolant or vice versa )

if u r putting caltex coollant first time unless zero meter car , rust wil accumulate after 3 to 7 days( depending upon car use ) and radiator might jam ( due to anti rust function )hosing joints might also leak so keep eye on housings .......

have to re wash and replace the coolant lets say about 700 to 1000km ...
u might have to re do procedure if too much rust in radiator..............

then you can enjoy caltex coolant ......
its very nice and if u have used it in zero meter car no rust will come in radiator even after 1lac km

AGS is good, as per my experience. If budget is not a issue i'll recommend opting for ACDelco dry battery for better look and life of your engine compartment.

Hey guys, thanks for the earlier help. My santro is giving a new problem. The AC keeps tripping when the car is in idle mode and it starts when the car starts moving. I tried getting the rpm raised, that worked for a while but it has started again. What could be the problem ? The car shudders in idle mode. Any help with pictures would be helpful. Don't wanna get ripped by an auto mechanic lol

Try checking the air filter (if its choked or healthy) and make sure the jack in the place highlighted is properly pressed, try cleaning and then set the RPMs from throttle body.

Also does the problem exists only on CNG or Petrol only.

(don't know whether there is temperature control knob exists in santro or not if yes then)
If you recently bought your santro. Then may be the prev owner has changed the AC thermostate settings for frequently tripping which cause less fuel consumption.

Appreciate the swift response bro. I'm gonna try it out today and let you know. The car also jerks slightly in second gear. Could that be related to the air filter as well ?

1st tune your car which includes filter cleaning and rpm settings etc. Then go for the AC thingy.

Did I mention I put Pirelli 155 tyres on the car last month? Great move, car rides a few mm higher (no more speed breaker worries) and the grip and road noise issues both improved!
Did a quick run up and down to Lahore, perfect ride! The previous owner had put 165/65 Japanese tyres, and they were not up to mark. Low ground clearance, and car tended to skate/slide under heavy braking.
