Tell me what this problem could be? that radiator didn't suck the water from bottle??? pipe was ok, i blown air into to. not clogged.

\check if the radiator cap if it is seated properly, if it is then most probably you will have to replace it.

    Hello guys,

I have purchased Santro Exec 2005 with 88K mileage, Islamabad registered. Very good condition for 570K. There are few things to replace like Clutch plate, and tires.

    Please suggest me following.

    • What things I should get serviced?
    • What tires are good? I heard 165/55 R13 something like that are good for Santro.
    • How much will Clutch plate + bearing will cost?
    • Please recommend me a good mechanic or Hyundai authorized workshop in Islamabad.
    • Should I replace the battery?

What other things do you suggest?

    Thanks in advance.

Congrats bro. Guys tell me how good are Hyundai Sowan Motors guys are? That's the same workshop near Fauji Foundation Hospital right?

Are they expensive? If yes, tell me some other good mechanic in Isb/Rwp. I recently purchased this car and don't want to waste money.

    Thank you

i want to clean all the sensors of my car, because i believe that these sensors are gone dirty, and need checking for proper work and cleaning.

please tell me how many sensors are there in santro which need to be cleaned?

I called Hyundai sowan motors, and they told me that Rs. 300/- will be charged for checking, Rs. 250/- will be charged for Throttle body cleaning and Rs. 450/- is also told by him but the phone was not clear and i did't got what he was saying.

now need to know should i clean all the sensors? but he told me that MAP and MAF can not be cleaned but only checking is possible. is it true?

PS: My car is okay, but i want satisfaction that everything is working on its peak.

Buy a NASA carb cleaner bottle..you may have it for Rs. 300/-
Remove air duct attached to the TB and the gas venturi ring to access TB. Check visually the butterfly inside and by wiping a finger on its surface...if you have a think carbon deposit than you probably need a cleaning...BTW its not a big issue to have carbon over it as long as the carbon is not hampering its function...i-e fully opening and closing without restriction...spray inside and the hinges which control its opening and closing..manually operate it (butterfly) several time.....wipe off suity fluid collected...remove the IAC and push some NASA in it..shake it a bit...drain the dirty fluid....repeating this a couple of time....install things back and you are done....while you do this entire process remove the battery terminal as well..and then reconncect as you finish. and you are done...usualy no need to clean any other sensor.....you can do this process may be once in two months...it is always refreshing...

    Good to see that

Why not drive it for a few days & than decide whether to change battery / clutch plate or not?

If you find a good deal on tyres let me know too

P.S: try & avoid the Hyundai motors in I-9, over priced & under-skilled.

About tyres, I bought dunlop manufactured in 10th week of 2011, 165/65/13 and the cost was 18,000 for 4 tyres. I purchased from blue area, you would probably get slightly cheaper from pindi. Due to roza & other engagements, I just didn't have it in me to go to pindi & do khuwari.

Feel free to PM if you have any more questions.

sure, i will share my experience with these pads, have never replaced rear drums, and don't know whether the old pads are original or not, i have personally driven with these pads approx 25,000 KMs and don't know the how much the previous owner has driven it.

please share info regarding the rear drums, after how much KMs it should be replaced?
