# Thread: Low Milage on CNG : Santro club

1. ## Low Milage on CNG : Santro club

Hello!!!

I drive santro club GV. Running on CNG it is giving average around 90KM on full Cylanders (without A/C). I dont know the exact kgs of my cylanders but there is three factory fitted small cylanders. So brothers please tell me is this the right milage for my car or is there some thing wrong..... and if milage is low what should i do to increase its milage.

MOD.

2. i think your cylinder will be of 45 kg and if the cylinders are of 45 kg the mileage you are getting is slightly low atleast you should get this average with a/c,get the kit tuned your problem will be solved

3. nope... its 42 kg (14kg each).

It depends upon the driving style too.

I've Santro Club 2003 (50 KG cylinder).
It gives me around 120 KMs with A/C in City (I mean full time A/C on). But some times around 100 KMs in case if I switch the A/C on and stay in the Car for an hour or so specially when I go to shopping with my family

Without A/C easily 150KMs in City.

Long route at speed 120 or 120+ with A/C (120 KMs)
Long route at speed 100 or 110 with A/C (150 KMs)

Long route at speed 120 or 120+ without A/C (140 KMs)
Long route at speed 100 or 110 without A/C (170 KMs)

But if you push your car little hard for example in City 1st gear 30, 2nd gear 60, 3rd gear 100 then it would give you around 110 in city ...

Regards

10. AOa,
friendz always check average on the long route(to keep your mind tansion free).LOcal main Kisi bhi average par compromise nahin kiyaa jaa sakta..

2nd thing we have many CNG stations and workshops as well but dont have good mechenic, even at company we dont have good CNG mechenics.i think once your car is set you never need to retune or change CnG setting again and again.
