    Default Santro problem--urgent

    i just hve changed the CLUTCH PLATE of my Santro.. but uss say GEAR tight hu gaya ha santro ka..

    Wesey Rukki gaari ka gear nahi hota ha.. lekin jab start karo tu PEHLA aur DOSRA gear Bohat SAKHT hu gaya ha Mushkil say lagta ha....

    tu asal chakar kia ha??? Clutch plate NEW honay ki waja sy tu nhi??

    Did you take it back to the mechanic who changed the cluch?

    If you changed the cluch yourself, I guess you might need to tighten the clutch too so that it can press further when you press. (if it is cable driven?)

    GamezBond is right, problem could be with the tightness of the cable.
    It is also possible that during repair work mechanic took out gear oil and then he refilled it but some of it was lost during this process and now gear oil is not up to the mark.

    Replaced Complete set i.e. Pressure Plate, Clutch Plate and bearing or simply CP. Secondly CP you replaced is genuine or compatible and lastly which grade oil was used. If it is cable was the condition of cable good, oiled. Check it.
