    Default Santro Oil Pressure

The Santro (2006) Oil Pressure light stay on for 2 to 3 seconds after the car has started, particularly if the car has been sitting for more than one hour. Anyone has experienced this?

Bro your Oil filter is either local or fake. Actually good oil filters have lock due to this lock system they are able to retain Oil even when the car engine is off whereas in local filters they don't capable to retain OIL.
OIL indications means that you crank is running without OIL for that certain time which is definitly harmful for engine life.

I don't think there is a problem. It could be due to thicker viscosity of the oil and the cold winter weather. So it takes time for the oil to flow. What grade of oil are you using?

Replacement of Filter has rectified the problem. Another warning sign to all the readers that when you buy something from the open market ( even from reputed brand name Petrol Stations) u can end up buying a fake... i guess going to the dealer is the only way out
