    Default Santro Engine

    I have a 2002 Santro and the engine has pretty much lived it's life... Would anyone out there know how much would a new engine or a used engine cost for Santro ... and do I have any other options? I don't want to overhaul the current engine is in a very bad shape.

    dont change engine oil till engine pops out of the hood

    @ansarif
    if engine block is not damaged rebuild it.
    otherwise search for replacement in bilal ganj. and get the new engine number on the car book
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    Well the 2nd hand engine you will go for might be more used than your current engine.

    So its better to get your current engine overhauled that will cost you around 18 to 23 thousand. depending on the parts and work the engine needs.
    Speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go.
