    If those MK are local, they are leather. Leather tends to overheat and 'fade' (try searching for 'brake fade').

    If you use MK Japan, they are most probably carbon, but sorry I don't have any experience.

    I've got good experience with Schnieder (Malaysia), Asuki (Japan) and Nippon (Japan). In Karachi, Yamamoto (Malaysia) are also popular but I don't have first hand experience.

    Try Nippon or something else, but don't pay heed if the shopkeeper tells you not to buy carbon brake pads. Carbon brake pads last longer so few shopkeepers want you to buy them.
    Take note, Nippon last longer but also fade more than Schnieder. (However they only fade after some very high-performance driving, not like the leather ones who fade every other corner).

    Also, performance brakes are meant for the track, and their optimum operating temperature is on the higher side. What I mean is there should be a warm-up session for the brakes, tyres, engine and fluids to come up to the operating temperature. This implies that you'd find extremely lousy braking while going to grocer's if using performance brake pads. And other, more sedate drivers using the same vehicle could cause accidents because the brake won't grip that much when cold.

    P.S: Ultimately all brakes fade unless you buy that carbon-fibre ceramic set from Ferrari for US$4000.

    Zeejigs: If anyone knows anything about your concern; Ultimately he's going to reply rather spam on your topic & misguide you!!

    ahsanzs: So nippon, schnieder do make Pads for Khyber!! How much would they cost..

    Ahsan bro; Another Q from me sorry Zeejigs for running in your topic!!
    Can I get better, Stiffer shocks, spring or suspension set-up for a khyber!! Coz really if i drive it to 80 km/h on shara-e-faisal I feel every bump on the road and very poor grip, specifically iit slips to other side!!
    Nothing to see here.

    @ToofaneBatameezi

    Nippon makes pads pretty much for every Japanese car. Khyber pads are the same as Margalla and Cultus (maybe I'm wrong). Schnieder pads for cultus I've seen, Nippon I've not seen first hand.

    Brake pads all varieties usually cost Rs.120-700. Mostly good variety comes around 380-580. You can PM me so we can talk on other issues without spoiling other's topics.

    @Zeejigs

    Try changing to some other brand I've told you of, and nobody will go crazy then.

    @zeejigs thz bro

    no 100% idea on this

    as few days back baleno was converted to 4 wheel disc which costed around 8k.......and he got the rear setup of suzuki esteem from sultan ka khu

    so it was easy for him

    but in this est estimate can only be done by mechanic....but i can say atleast have 10k in yr pocket for this

    but bro do tell what kind of setup u have in yr car....

    if u running a stock engine...then dont go for 4 wheel disc....buy carbon pads for yr car ...those will be enough for it

    but if u have some thing in mind to swap in future then go for 4 wheel

    a guy on PW racing his g13b with rx8 has the carbon pads and he was happy with it...

    i think we have to find that pads from some person

    best option will be to contact dubai autos.....he can arange anything present in market
