Default How to improve Khyber CNG avg. to 125 km\cylinder

    Dear mates,

I recently purchased Khyber 1998. It averages 85km/cylinder(7kg gas). I have heard that Khyber normally does 125 to 130 km per cylinder.

Please advise where the problem lies and how to correct it.

    regards,

    Qaiser

    * Get your car tunned from a good mechanic
    * Check the status of your Air Filter
    * Check Wheel Alingment and Wheel Balance

If all the above mentioned parameters are OK, then you must get an average of 125Km in a 50kG Cylinder. and atleast 170-180Km at highways

Have you ever emptied the cylinder? I mean have you ever waited till the gas ran out?

My Civic used to give me 65km per cylinder and the red light would start blinking. I tried every tunning but to no avail.

In the end, I was asked to empty my cylinder to get it cleaned as they thought it may have oil in it. And I was surprised to see that the car ran another 40km with the red light on.

So the problem can be in the CNG guage as it was in my case.
