Default Best Car AC for Suzuki Khyber???

    Dear All,
    AA!

I hope you all will be wnjoying good health. Well winter is over now and summer is near, so i am getting worried about the my car's AC.

Guys i need your help regarding the car AC of khyber. Last year i got my car's AC serviced, the cooling was really good but the Air Throw was not as much as it should have been. It does not mean that my car's AC has some problem, it is throwing the air as other Stock khybers do, but i need to do some modifications o enhance its Air Throw. Please guide me what i have to do to have better AC performence?

Moreover, please guide me to the best AC Mechanic in Rawalpindi/Islamabad should be economical too, because i need to get the Gas refill as last year the gas leaked twice and the AC mechanics on bith the shops could not figure out from where the gas is escaping.

I would really be gratefull for your help.

The blower speed can be increased by the addition of a power relay with the blower.
I got complete system service done by Eastern AC last July.
    Rechareged the AC gas R-134A.
Currently Im satisfied with the AC persormance.

Thanks. I searched the threads on pakwheels regarding the best AC mechanic in rwp/isb and 70% of the pakwheelers referred me to Abu Bakr in G-8 Markaz. I am planning to pay a visit to him

A corolla 86 blower fits a khyber, had it in mine. Remember it will require a minor cut to the lower (leg) side of the dashboard.

Alternately you could put packing (foam) on he side vents at the blower side not at the vent side... And make only the middle, leg or the windscreen vents work.

Got my AC work done from I-10/4. No alteration done. Got complete service. Actually the blower was choked, so had to clean it. Moreover the the AC Filter was also choked which was later changed. The Gas was leaking from inside which was also fixed. Changed the belt. Added an extra relay. Changed compressor oil. Filled 134 number Gas

Now the AC is chilling and the air throw is incredible. I am completely satisfied.

Best Car AC for Suzuki Khyber??? -58725

Answer to your queries is the receipt above.

I think the charges a pretty reasonable, if you look into the work done. Normally other AC Mechanics take 2000-2200Rs only for gas filling.

You can exclude 400Rs of mechanic labour, 350Rs for timing belt cover. 150Rs for the bearing as these were the works other than the AC.

So in total i paid 4310-400-250-150 = 3510 Rs including the labour. In this price he also fixed the leakage under the dashboard are. The blower was choked which was cleaned, the AC Filter was also choked, he replaced that as well.

Nopes i think he changed the pipe. I was not present there as my driver was there. He just told me that the gas leakage was from inside which has been fixed now. It hs been nearly a month now since i got the work done, i was fearing that the gas might leak again, but ALHAMDULILLAH "ALL IS WELL"

Actually i am not talking about gas leaking , i am talking about any leakage under the dashboard area , from there out side hot air or engine bay's hot air enter in the car's inside environment which affects the AC's cooling as i was facing in my Ex-Khyber.

You are welcome. I think it is better if someone shares his experience along with the price, so that others can have a better idea what sould they pay for similar kind of work.
