Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    regards

after-note: In addition to the above queries, this thread also contains info on carburetor, AC, electrical, cooling system, brakes & gear issues related to khyber G-10.

Special thanks to following experts :
Xulfiqar, Fas133, Margallar, Ahsanzs, wasay_Ahmad, Xplorer, jz, Daniyal
for their valuable contributions and last but not least
I am greatful to Cracked for keeping this thread alive by
    raising all the queries/question.

Emulsification ports were cleaned when the problem surfaced a week ago, they were clogged then but cleaning made no effect coz the problem went deeper.

    In this session
    1. i bypassed the hot idle compensator as it was acting funny,
    2. the idle passage in the throttle body were partially clogged
    3. Primary idle cut off solenoid o-ring was torn and was changed.
    4. most importantly the float was recaliberated
    5. All gaskets changed
    6. Idle jet's oring was flattened and blocking the fuel passage from primary idle cut off port
    7. power valve piston was not working with vacuum so replaced it .

Q 3. Should Hot idle air bypass vacuum be connected for CNG?.

Q 4. Newly made Butterfly coin has no gap (with throttle plates fully closed) but there is up down free play (about 1 mm) in throttle lever/shaft, when i try to rotate and wiggle the shaft. Is there any remedy for worn out bushes?.
Ans1: personally I am not against it. They use it to lubricate throttle plate and valve seats. Long term use of dry fuel (CNG) can cause valves seating surface to dry out.
    Ans2: as per my info
    primary main jet 95
    Secondary main jet 105
    Idle jet 48
    Ans3: yes.
Ans4: bush replacement has to be done. Khradiyas specializing in carbs will do it. Approx cost 700

What should be the petrol average for Suzuki Khyber if the carburetor is serviced and working perfectly.
Keeping in mind the car was discontinued 14 years ago and used on CNG as well.

Margallar is right. All the kabli cups and rotors I checked were sand papered, brutally. So I bought YEC rotor, distributor cup and it's cup O ring for 470rs.

Results: fixed missing problem at certain rpms, better fuel economy, better starting, better acceleration.

Cracked, yes from red intake thing, they connect there to vacuum solenoids, not to diaphragms. If they dont work, reverse the pipes on vacuum solenoid.

not to mention, that brand new scratchless plastic and those shiny new bolts are eye candy

i would feel a very light misfire, when my foot was only just touching the accelerator and car was in neutral, the engine would vibrate at just above idle speed, the new cap and rotor fixed it

    got the cap for 400
rotor for 170 and a 555 rubber seal for the cap for 60 rs

That red thing is intake manifold vacuum port. One of it goes to AC idle up diaphragm and the second goes to electrical load idle up diaphragm both via vacuum solenoid.
    See this for complete details.
