Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    regards

after-note: In addition to the above queries, this thread also contains info on carburetor, AC, electrical, cooling system, brakes & gear issues related to khyber G-10.

Special thanks to following experts :
Xulfiqar, Fas133, Margallar, Ahsanzs, wasay_Ahmad, Xplorer, jz, Daniyal
for their valuable contributions and last but not least
I am greatful to Cracked for keeping this thread alive by
    raising all the queries/question.

I tried to adjust choke cable to let small amount of air pass, with engine off at choke fully pulled from dashboard. I adjusted at 1,2,3 positions, but the choke plate fully closes, when choke is pulled. Do I have the wrong size choke cable?

But this problem arises after travelling 10-15 km. At that time, ithink engine is well warm.
on my way back to home, it started to stall nd was taking race with very difficulty... kher i tried to adjust timing, it works a bit, then i lean the mixture screw anticlockwise, it worked like charm. Nd there was no such issue for the rest of path, even i stucked into traffic at mandi more for half an hour or so...
i changed my airfilter a few days back during tuning, may be the air to fuel mixture was disturbed....

The choke plate will open itself when the engine starts - thats what the choke breaker is for. You adjust the cable so that the choke fully works when pulled out. and works the linkage when half pulled out.

Today removed carpet nd found a lot if rust, moisture nd dust underneath.
I m using raxine sheet above carpet ti avoid any liquid to go down. But moisture is still there. as u can see, all water stopper rubber seals werent there, so may b due to this water was coming from downside.... overall floor is ok nd strong. 98% in origional condition. Sign of rust on surface. Just 2 areas where there us rust deep inside. Otherwise all is ok..

Now suggest, wot to do. Cleaned all floor with water shampo nd petrol mixed. Now? is that ok? or anything else shld b done.... i have 2-4 hours to re fix all that carpet nd seats. Taking carpet to service station nd going to purchase some rubber seals....

Use a fine waterproof sand paper and use it along with water to remove and clean the surface rust
Goto a painter nearby and get him to prime and paint the surface

when the car is in such a bad shape, then what is the point of not fixing it correctly, only new metal will work, otherwise water will enter from these places,i suggest that you get new metal welded, sand the floor to the metal (DIY at home) and then take it to a painter.
