    Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

    I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

    Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
    Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

    What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    regards

    after-note: In addition to the above queries, this thread also contains info on carburetor, AC, electrical, cooling system, brakes & gear issues related to khyber G-10.

    Special thanks to following experts :
    Xulfiqar, Fas133, Margallar, Ahsanzs, wasay_Ahmad, Xplorer, jz, Daniyal
    for their valuable contributions and last but not least
    I am greatful to Cracked for keeping this thread alive by
    raising all the queries/question.

    Yes metal is good. Only surface is rusted. One or 2 rounds of sand paper will remove it..
    What is the name of that blackish substance that is offenly found inside doors of cars to prevent rust...
    As u can see, namdas are in good condition, i want to spread a sheet of jumbolan foam, which is avlble at carpet shops, on floor, under carpet to make a bit soundless nd airproof for winters. What do u suggest?

    These are pictures of handbrake.
    There are two switches attached to it, but the wiring is disconnected. Can anybody tell where and how to connect.. i think, one of the switch should be attached to backlight nd other to meter to display handbrake on or off

    The cylinder head ground cable is uncovered, it looks like accelerator or clutch cable. Do i need to replace that cable for better grounding?. i changed the negative terminal grounding cable, as it was very stiff. An electrician said stiff wire means its weak, correct me if wrong.

    @margallar
    you talk about those 150 rs acrylic sprays?.
    @shaidbokhari
    I think that your wiper tray area is rusted from left side or the small channel that drains wiper tray water is clogged. pour some water in the tray and check if water drains from both sides and does not drip inside.

    I would suggest to remove the dash and fully repair the corrossion and apply some nice coating to prevent water trap

    @Xulfiqar @syncview
    Brand new brake discs and new disc pads are installed. Is it normal for disc and disc pads to touch slightly during bed in period?. After jacking up car, the front tires are stiff to spin (by hand) and while spinning, I can hear slight hissing sound.

    Due to this, under local driving(5-10 kms) with light braking, front rims get hot, but not too hot to touch. the mechanic says it will get ok after sometime. both front brakes work equally and front caliper kit is working fine, according to mechanic. what is your view on this?

    disc brakes always run hotter than drums and they will always sound a bit hissy when you spin the wheel. The reason is that the pads always remain in touch with the disc with no pressure.
