    Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

    I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

    Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
    Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

    What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    Guys whats the appropriate rim and tyre sizes for a khyber ...

    1) Cannot find 14" rims with 114 PCD ... everyone is saying that its rare , can get a rim modified to that PCD but i dont think that is recommended.
    2) 13" are very common .. whats the recommended tyre size with 13 " that doesnt disturb efficiency and keeps the car soft --> 175/65 , 175/70 or 165/65

    Secondly what are your thoughts that a 14" with probably 175/55 will destroy the suspension ?? Coz most people are saying that a 14" rim will stiffen the car and really affect the suspension

    i am not sure how to check quality, but you should come over to my area, the shop here has everything. new pipe even low quality are better than cracked old ones, though i think you will get good quality here

    After inspection, the main gear mount was replaced, as it was sagging. vibration is 50% gone.

    Tried to adjust the crooked front and rear mounts, but could not do it due to its lock pin. Can we grind one lock pin?. As one pin does not fit in its place when I set them in line with blue and red thing.

    Pictures attached of old front engine and main gear mount. Rear one was broken. Front was too much soft but not broken.

    sorry man,was busy with stuff. i live in Pindi,cant guide you where to source pipes. pipes that are actually required to be replaced with need to be soft and they will have internal threaded area.
    REAL men drive manual cars!

    I purchased Goodyear fuel pipes for 40 rs per foot (as far as i remember the price). But don't know if that is original Goodyear or not. They are also internally threaded (picture attached), like cracked mentioned and working great.

    SNA pipes are not very good quality these days.

    that pin is for locating the mount in the crossmember fitting otherwise the risk of cross threading the bolt increases 50%, replace the mount that has gone soft
