@xulfiqar say an engine with a slight crack on one piston side has the piston rings on that side shot but the rest are ok. How long will it last after a rebuild but if nothing is done to repair the crack?
there are a few words in both urdu and english for that type of repair and all of them would be considered foul language. Using a cracked piston in an engine is the equivalent of shooting oneself in the foot.
repair is done to "eliminate" such
Sorry I typed wrong. I meant a cracked block where the head gasket is placed @xulfiqar
you need a replacement block. specially if its cracked near the cylinders and specially if its the aluminium suzuki G10 block.
adjust the choke linkage so that the choke breaker works and make sure it can fast idle too.
Yes its the g10 one. The crack starts from a few mm down a cylinder and goes till a few mm out of the edge/top of cylinder.

Wonderful work done by @xplorer .
If the Crack you mentioned is in the cylinder sleeve and does not extends to the aluminum block. Then you can get new sleeve inserted of the same bore as the rest of the cylinders.
is the crack in the steel liner or the aluminium casting?
@xulfiqar can we add auto choke to mehran F8B
What are the correct names of Blue, Red, Yellow and Green?.
blue = block castingred = cylinder steel lineryellow = coolant jacketgreen = cylinder spacing
the block holds siamesed cylinders like honda, resleeving this has a number of issues due to how it was made.
I've marked the 2 likely places i saw the crack. I didn't take any pics when the rings were changed earlier this year so i'm not sure but i think it is more likely that the crack was the one i have labelled. I think this because the spark plug of that cylinder was black while other 2 were rusty. Also, the valves and the upper curved area(the top of cylinder) were black while the others were rusty. So the crack starts on the sleeve and goes till where i have marked on pic. It was small.
Very good and organized work. Thumbs up @xplorer
@xulfiqar , is this the part you believe to be causing the voltage loss to the coil?
It was something like this....but not as deep
Yes this is it
How to bench test it? All wires show continuity
What are the resistance values?
Have you tested the wiring in the car? Dash to engine?
PCV Valve.
Learnt from previous posts that,
It is one way valve. Air can blown from A to B, but not from B to A. It should also rattle. Carburetor cleaner is used to clean it.
