Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    regards

after-note: In addition to the above queries, this thread also contains info on carburetor, AC, electrical, cooling system, brakes & gear issues related to khyber G-10.

Special thanks to following experts :
Xulfiqar, Fas133, Margallar, Ahsanzs, wasay_Ahmad, Xplorer, jz, Daniyal
for their valuable contributions and last but not least
I am greatful to Cracked for keeping this thread alive by
    raising all the queries/question.

If it gives you peace of mind, know that fx and khyber tstat are the same. Just a difference in packing

Yes it does. The shop had a paper gasket which I'm using. If you still have leaks make a packing using silicone.

Yes it is possibly blocked or air locked. Does your heater work?

Btw use the search function of this thread with some keywords like "heater core". You might find something helpful.

It fits perfectly fine. I also use the same.

Gasket is required, and I also put some good quality silicone on the circumference (edges) of the valve too, as the thermostat housing and valve fitting area was corroded a little bit, which leaks some coolant from there.

I sandpapered both flange and other thing a bit to make it even.

Yes.. T valve is without gasket..
It sits in collar groove over it comes the tstat housing gasket and housing top fixed by two bolts.
note that the air bleed valve should not get covered by gasket.

That is for venting oil vapours. I think this should also be connected someplace on the manifold

This is a 3 way pipe, for PCV valve function, as already suggested.

Top end goes to air filter housing, middle end goes to PCV Valve and lower end goes to tappet cover. All three ends should be clamped.

For more info about checking and cleaning it, search 'PCV valve'.

A great DIY for all of us

Reverse lights of a khyber of my friend isnt working with reverse gear since he bought it.
He checked recently that the switch on gear box isnt connected to any wires....i tried to source the wires but unable to find.* As he recently put all the wires in a pipe and taped them for decent look as there were lot of wires in engine room. Now the situation is.
The condition of switch is unknown
The wires are unknown where are they..if inside that pipe then wether working or not..
So he thought to have a manual on/off switch on dashboard adjacent to cng switch to turn the backlights on while reversing and off otherwise.

Need help about wiring...how to connect lights with switch...how to locate wires coming from back white lights
