Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    regards

after-note: In addition to the above queries, this thread also contains info on carburetor, AC, electrical, cooling system, brakes & gear issues related to khyber G-10.

Special thanks to following experts :
Xulfiqar, Fas133, Margallar, Ahsanzs, wasay_Ahmad, Xplorer, jz, Daniyal
for their valuable contributions and last but not least
I am greatful to Cracked for keeping this thread alive by
    raising all the queries/question.

should open anti clock wise btw i tried to clean it while it was attached and the car was start..sprayed cleaner in it and the when placing fingering in front of it ,it was sucking my finger .. dont open it just put in carburettor cleaner and good
to go.. all the freaking jerks are gone

Check the condition of your plugs. Are they an orange or rusty color? when was the last time the carb was cleaned? Is your carb getting fuel? Like no clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump?

What i understand from your explanation is that carb may not be getting proper fuel supply when throttle is applied and becomes ok when the mixture gets rich(choke pulled).

If it accelerates ok with gradual opening of throttle but goes off with sudden throttle then its the accelerator pump not working properly.

today i got new pipes. Parker ...anyways...i visited shakeel autos and saw 4 different fuel filters...all were counterfeit. Filhal, i got one to keep things going. but i intend to get two fuel filters, one that is a known good/ genuine (or something better if i can find) and an inline one, just before the carburetor.

sankei cheapo filter seemed better than the fake sgp ones

I also discovered, that the other day, i could have stopped fuel from coming out of the filter, simply by removing the fuel filler cap.

it relieves pressure and fuel flow stops. so if you have to replace a leaky fuel pipe, take off the fuel filler cap

@margallar i recall that i bought sankei filter too but after a few days the filter paper separated from the top of the filter which caused fuel to go directly to carb without any filtration. And guess what? I opened it up and saw that the filter paper was STAPLED together....

Btw, are the sgp filters at the dealerships fake? I am using a mehran one.

I am speechless.......i think i will buy and dissect a couple of filters.

i can't really say about the dealership ones...they should be good, but anything can happen in this country

anyways, inline filter is a must

@axe.effect i recall you posting some pics of jambolon sheet for insulation. Have you installed those on your khyber? Where did you install them?
I was thinking of placing the sheet on the floor board as heat from exhaust pipe comes inside cabin and ac cooling is affected. Also, i might use inside doors if its not very thick. Is jambolon enough or is there anything else also used?
