    Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

    I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

    Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
    Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

    What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    if a car dont smoke and there is no leakage from engine that wot can cause in reduction of oil. my friends khyber is reducing oil a lot.

    No leakage from tappet cover or oil sump?

    was it leaking while parked/running?

    no leakage bro already mentioned. and the oil cap at tappet cover is always wet with oil but is it possible that it can reduce 70% oil?

    now a days my car dont start in morning wotever i do. it take self with a difficulty but takes proper self. means battery seems ok.
    the only thing works is to pour some petrol in carby and it starts. no issue after that...any especific reason? fuel pump? or current coil?

    Wet oil cap and tappet cover with oil reduction classic sign of bad pcv valve and clogged breather pipe

    Pump the accelerator pedal few times in the morning just before starting it.

    My Khyber starts on CNG in this cold freezing weather of Abbottabad in the early mornings .. On petrol with choke and on cng it starts on second sulf .. Cng gets freezed .. Oil matters alot i pour in zic 10w40

    He said oil is reduced upto 70%, means more than 2 litres. Bad PCV valve can not reduce that much oil in Khyber.

    it started after pouring petrol in carb so you have some fueling issue. Replace fuel filter and use carburetor cleaner to clean up any clogged jets. A bad fuel pump should be the last thing on your list.

    Edit: It could be accelerator pump too if its not starting with pumping pedal. Btw check if fuel is sprayed in carb while pressing accelerator when car is OFF and cold.
