Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    regards

after-note: In addition to the above queries, this thread also contains info on carburetor, AC, electrical, cooling system, brakes & gear issues related to khyber G-10.

Special thanks to following experts :
Xulfiqar, Fas133, Margallar, Ahsanzs, wasay_Ahmad, Xplorer, jz, Daniyal
for their valuable contributions and last but not least
I am greatful to Cracked for keeping this thread alive by
    raising all the queries/question.

if you are driving 100% on petrol then get the timing advance set for petrol and remove that air blockage in the intake.

In my experience 10 is around the max what you can expect from khyber...

    Dear Speedster

Please explain a bit about Directional Tyres, keep that in mind while changing their positions?

You mean after some Km when people shift the front tyres to back and back to front is that what you are referring to?

Normally tyres are rotated in a diagonal pattern, however directional tires can only use a front to back rotation pattern - no switching the tire to the other side.

timing advance for petrol is about 8 btdc if i am not wrong, however for CNG it is set to 16 to 20 btdc if i am not wrong. At CNG advance running petrol all the time is not even good for the engine.

Add a relay with blower motor wiring would have developed some resistance and the motor wouldn't be getting required current...
    OR
Your car's Evaporator coil is dirty (fins clogged) you need to get that cleaned..
    OR
The flaps in the centre unit are not doing there job right....

So what fuel average you are getting?
    Your car's condition?
    Tyre's you are using?

Vacuum pipes are not according to the order.

Many factors are responsible for fuel average...

Car is suzuki fx. Recently over hauled its engine. General tyres. Average varies from 8 to 10. Once i got its carburetor cleaned and the mechanic attached 1 litre of petrol bottle and suprisingly it did 17km in one litre. There is no leakage of petrol

There must be some problem with fuel tank or fuel pump then.!

The bottle method is not the most accurate. Fill er up, reset trip meter(if equipped), drive until 3/4 tank finishes and then divide mileage by liters of fuel(on next top up).
