    Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

    I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

    Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
    Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

    What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    Slam to all your feed back regarding the Khyber is priceless thanks
    I have a Khyber 94 jade green colour its running good on petrol and CNG the problem which is started a few days back is it does not shifts on petrol when the cng cylinder is full 200 bar when pressure in cylinder comes down to 30 bar then it shift easily on petrol so what is the problem any guidance plz

    Thanks speedster_101,
    Do you know how much ampere are recommended for this relay? Actually I had installed new horn, (pow pow) which were some times not working due to unknown reason, only tick tick sound i heard when pressing horn button. Electrician replaces horn relay with right air conditioner relay. Now horn is working good, but I dont know about AC. Relay is shown in fig, has rust on it and its amp rating is not read able.

    I don't know the exact ampere rating of this relay, I will try to read if its written on mine.
    In order to rectify horn issue, he messed up the car A/C system. Great
    Stay away from such juggari electricians.

    hahaha, this will be a difficult job to stay away from such jugaro people, I have 16 years old car. it needs attention in one or two month, right now due to busy schedule I was not able to post the problem related to horn. Occasionally it is happening that when I press horn I only hear the tic sound (may be from relay) but horn does not bang. then in few tries it runs normally. This was the same problem due to which i go to electrician and he changed the relay with AC relay. after changing relay it happens 3 times only in one week. with previous relay it was tic and bang cycle one after another.

    My question is that, can Any one tells me why I am facing loosening of belt and foundation issue again and again. As I am using 65 amp generator in my Khyber. (comes from previous owner). two electrician told me to replace it with genuine khyber generator. but my mechanic told me to stick with 65 amp. and generator wala also does not show any offense for using 65 amp generator. Kindly help me in this matter.
    change the mount to a new one and install a good belt. Just tighten it

    you can get a second hand alternator for 3000ish. If the electrician is charging you 1500 for repairs, why not just replace it in a few minutes and save time

    be sure to get one that fits in the original position without any alteration. It can be bigger than stock though, i suggest 55amp

    Guys i have black smoke on petrol. not on CNG. what could be the possible Reasons?
    and yes i have opened My Car's (khyber) carburetor about 1 year ago. for the cleaning and service purpose bcoz at that time one of the jets was blocked and car was not responding on sudden throttle. that was the reason. after service this smoke problem started. but that time it was light smoke today morning when i checked i was quite visible. and one thing more i mostly run my engine on cng.
    so here i need your expertise to resolve this issue.
