Default Self Tuning - Khyber G-10 (Plugs, valve clearance, spark gap etc)

    Salam

    dear members/experts

I own a khyber 1996. Recently overhauled its engine completely at home by myself except the mechanist part. It has its first oil change at 1100Km yesterday and i am planning to tune it. I have following query for the learned members/experts

Q.1. recommended spark plugs for khyber g-10 on CNG
    Q.2. Recommended spark plug gap?
    Q.3. Recommended tappet setting Hot/cold?
Q.4. Running was on petrol with Caltex Havoline formula and now i have switched to CNG with Shell helix HX7 10-40W (synthetic) , is shell HX7 ok?

What else should i do or check to get max output and efficiency from my g-10?

    regards

after-note: In addition to the above queries, this thread also contains info on carburetor, AC, electrical, cooling system, brakes & gear issues related to khyber G-10.

Special thanks to following experts :
Xulfiqar, Fas133, Margallar, Ahsanzs, wasay_Ahmad, Xplorer, jz, Daniyal
for their valuable contributions and last but not least
I am greatful to Cracked for keeping this thread alive by
    raising all the queries/question.

Idea is basically the same, before putting the new oil put the flushing treatment and act as per directions on the flush can, drain it out and put the oil in after wards.

    Understood?

Engine flush is added to the old engine oil and drained after 10 minute idling. There is no issue/problem in adding 300-400ml treatment as its just for few minutes..

YouTube - Engine flush LIQUI MOLY

    NOTE
    * The above video is an advertisement and I have posted it to show you the procedure only. The before use and after use photos in the video are most probably fake.

    * If you have maintained a regular oil change interval and replaced oil/air filter accordingly then there is no need for the engine flush as it will not give you the benefit of its cost.

But the disadvantage is that the soft tyres suffer wear and tear more rapidly. I have driven 20,000 Kms and the grooves have started becoming less deeper. Before I was using Bridgestone B70. I used them for 4 years, the wear and tear were very less.
    Yes,
Softer tyres offer better grip but they wear out earlier than hard tyres.

The same is the case with my car,
The car is completely soundless but this one sound from the steering does not goes away.
Im also fed up with it.
I think it is common in all Khybers.
Those who have seen my car know how I,ve kept it spotless and soundless but still Im unable to figure out the cause behind this sound.

    30 psi is good.
Retain 30 psi in all 4 tyres.
28 would be low and might harm the tyre,s sidewalls.

In the upper radiator pipe hot water flows from engine to radiator and passes through the radiator and from bottom pipe it goes back to water pump and in the engine.

    To solve this puzzle

    1. remove heater pipes and place stopper in their place
    2. while the car is in cold state remove the upper pipe of the radiator.
    3. water will flow out but will still be enough in the system.
    4. start the engine
    5. water should not come out from tstat side immediately and should flow only when its at 80C.

the needle will show the temp of the coolant when it is below the tstat and the fan switch is at the top which is activated when tstat lets water through to the radiator after it reaches a certain temp and the radiator fan starts cooling the water flowing through the radiator.
    A beautiful system isnt it?

    AoA

i am facing a problem which i have been unable to diagnose.

The problem is a "Hichki" (some time one and sometime in pair) which occurs under no specific condition like RPM, load, gear etc.
I have done the following DIYs tappet (inlet 0.006'', outlet 0.008'' at cold engine), plug gap 0.80mm, distributor signal generator air gap 0.008", swapped the plug wires and distributor with other ones, adjusted the CNG mixture but nothing, the hitchki can occur at any time and is gone with out any trace.

It feels like the car engine is turned off for a sec and then comes to life again.

I am planning to visit pindi/islamabad at the weekend and am concerned about this issue, as this may get me in to trouble on the motorway.

plz guys help me out here
