Default Recommend me Fuel Pump for Khyber

    Hi All,

The fuel pump of my car is giving me the problems, I have tried both types of Pumps I.e manual stock pump (Kabli One) as well as chinese/desi manual pump. I have also tried electronic pumps but most of them dies within 1-2 weeks.

The fuel tank and lines are clear and fuel filter is changed every month.

Can you guys suggest me which fuel pump is better to install in my car?

    Waiting for your help.

    Saad

do you keep any petrol in your tank. even chinese pumps last atleast 5 years. if your lines are in good condition and you keep a good amount of petrol in the tank then a kabuli pump will do for atleast 10 years

Originally Khyber came with a mechanical pump, but if you are using your car on CNG then that mechanical pump start giving issues after approx 2 years. The reason is that it is working all the time, even though the car is on CNG, hence pump's diaphragm starts leaking.
Where as electronic pumps work only when the car is converted to petrol.
Electronic pumps are electrically driven, so they start working when current is supplied to them.

Were you using that Mitsubishi Pump with a relay or without relay?
It is good to install a relay with electronic fuel pump.

+1. whats original is whats designed for your engine, i think since the other pumps have different capacities they can cause a difference in engine performance
